Encouragement Speaker Derrick Hayes is an author, speaker, and empowerment consultant that helps others find their gifts so they can make a difference.

My most important job is wife and mommy. I am blessed to be a stay at home mother for my two daughters, and wife to my college sweetheart. I enjoy writing and blogging, but my other passion is cooking. Reading and studying the Bible helps me to keep my priorities in line, and gives me strength to get through even the most hectic of days. Before becoming a mother, I worked in University settings. I was a recruiter for two years and a manager in two separate departments for two years. I had the chance to be an editor of a monthly newsletter and create many recruiting materials. These writing duties in the workplace and the many writing assignments in college helped to spark my love of words. But becoming a mom, and keeping journals of the adventures of motherhood truly made me fall in love with writing. Words can touch peoples lives in many ways. They can make us laugh, fill us with suspense, heal a broken heart, and provide encouragement and information that is invaluable. I am honored for every chance I get to write.

Jennifer has undergone counseling studies the last four years at a local college, and has several more years of experience in giving advice and guiding others to make wise choices and handling difficult situations. She is currently employed as a non-medical caregiver to the elderly and disabled. Jennifer is happily married to a loving man who is often her source for encouragement.

Author & Speaker, Shalonda "Treasure" Williams was born in Savannah, Georgia in 1981. Now the privileged mother of four, she comes from the line up of eleven siblings. As the youngest, Shalonda determines to bring a message of encouragement and motivation to those that seem not to find peace in who they are or who simply need a push in the GO (Get Over & Get On) position. With her books "Back to the Basics" and "A Heart's Thoughts" in her Love Walk Meditations Series, she has begun that journey.
