Craig has been intuitive all of his life. He sees, and feels. Those abilities help Craig to grasp the situation and to know where it may lead. She's been a professional science and technology writer since 95 and a consultant of one type or another since the 80s. While working in technology transfer, her first cover story was on nanotechnology, and her second was on new environmental technologies. The "hook" for the technology transfer work was finding research funded with the old "star wars" or Strategic Defense Initiative funds. In 98 she moved back into IT (software and networking), taking advantage of very early experience with mainframes (yes, she was in the "computer club" in high school and remembers the first games, which were all TEXT! lol). New technology still excites her. Other interests that balance all the left-brain activity include hypnosis and hypnotherapy (she's a certified hypnotherapist), healing energy work (she's a Reiki and Karuna Healing Master Teacher), and an interest in mind-body and natural healing. Her bookshelves are full of herbal references, crystal folklore, and "wise woman" books. She sees the day coming (soon) when we don't run to the doctor for every cough and sneeze but once again return to "self doctoring" for minor ailments, only seeking out western medicine for traumatic injuries and emergencies. Her MD once told her that she knows more about complimentary therapies than any other patient. :) She is also the director of the Luna Wellness Center, LLC, a wholistic healing site. (Note: 'Ëœwholistic" and not "holistic" because we don't need "holes" but "wholeness.") Melodie was raised on a farm in southwestern Pennsylvania and has had a habit of attracting rescue animals since the early days on the farm. Her current critter count is 2 big fuzzy dogs, a handful of finches, and 1 blue parakeet. That farm background also has her growing a container garden in her backyard so as not to upset her HOA with a backyard garden. ¯Å Undoubtedly, being raised in the country and close to the land had a lot to do with her choice of major in college.

MaryEllen O'Brien is a freelance writer, independent scholar, veteran radio broadcaster, clairvoyant and energy healer. As a writer, nurse, educator, integrative health consultant and curious traveler, I have been involved with a natural, holistic lifestyle for over 35 years. No longer living on the coast or on a farm, but in the Blue Ridge Mountains, my herb gardens are smaller, but still fragrant and productive. I am a 38 year old Power Plant Operator from Brooksville, Ky. I was born 02/20/1973 in Maysville, Ky to two loving parents who did not have money but made sure our home was filled with a wealth of love. I was raised in Dover, Ky. the youngest of six children. I am now a husband of 16 years myself and the father of five sons. I suffered spinal injuries in a car crash in my twenties and endured surgeries and severe depression. I have been forced to draw social security disability. I have no shame of having done so. I never let myself fall victim to the program and the stigma attached to it as so many others do. I had no desire to keep with me that fixed income and receive the sneers and looks that accompany it. I used the program the way it was designed to be used, to get back on my feet and give my family a better future. I do not feel sorry for myself or anything i have gone through. I think we all go through what we do in order to become who we were meant to be. Instead of pitying myself, I take pride in the fact that I have also gone back to school and put in the effort to heal myself and work my way back to life. In a five year span I lost my mother (the center of my universe), injured my spine, and witnessed the birth of three premature children; one of which is on the Autism Spectrum and suffers with Asperger's Syndrome, a higher functioning disorder on the spectrum. I know more than any parent should have to about the disorder and the rights and laws needed to be expertly known by parents to raise and have educated a child who is differently abled like ours. I know what major depression is and how to overcome it one day at a time. I would like to offer the world a look into this and many other issues from a perspective of living within them. I love to write and I love people and so I will offer my experiences and my words for anyone who is in need of a caring and helpful heart. We are all here together and must hold to one another
