Bernard RichardsonI am technology enthusiast using my knowledge to understand the effects of technological advancements towards the evolution of humans.
Christian DoeringI live about 100 miles north of San Francisco on the "Mendonoma Coast" at the boundary between Sonoma and Mendocino counties. When I'm not online, I'm probably writing marketing communications and technical documents for a variety of clients. You can find out more about my consulting practice, Me, Ink at http://doering-mba.com. That's right, I do have an M.B.A. (with Distinction, no less) from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. I also earned a B.A. in English from Harvard. When I am not working, I'm probably playing jazz one of my guitars, or playing tennis, or walking our golden retriever, or fixing a meal with my wife Lis. I attempt to preserve the possibility of evolution for humanity and Planet Earth through various forms of meditation and physical activity designed to generate the higher energies that are required for this purpose. On the social level, I am interested in promoting new economic paradigms, and in the separation of business and state. Both of these concepts are based on the work of the late Jane Jacobs, a political economist with extremely original ideas that are grounded in factual observations.
Daniel GastonDan Gaston is a PhD student studying Evolution and Bioinformatics. Besides writing computer programs looking at genomes he enjoys sports, brewing beer, and men's fashion.
DividedUnderGodIn early January 2011, I was inspired by a conversation I had with someone on a Facebook page and decided to start my own blog. The conversation began when an acquaintance posted something about the Pledge of Allegiance, and her view that it should be recited in schools with the words 'under God' included. Being a secular humanist, with strong feelings about the separation of church and state, I decided to reply. After my reply, another person got involved and moved the conversation toward another topic that is near and dear to me: evolution. She claimed that evolution is not real, and that everything was 'created'. Well, I didn't get too much into that rebuttal, since I realized now that I was dealing with someone either grossly misinformed, or just drowning in her own lunacy. But it made me think. If she feels this way so strongly, there must be a reason, and I want to understand it. So here we are. I launched www.dividedundergod.com for everyone -- To share their views on current affairs, politics, the world in it's present state, and the opinions we form as a result. This is a place where we can learn from each other, about each other, and along side each other. I don't claim to be an expert in anything, just a fairly intelligent American who values my freedom and wants to exercise it. I'm open to your ideas and expect you to be open to mine. This is not a place to bash each other, spout hate speech, or present closed-minded views. This is a space for all of us to ask questions, comment on our lives, and most of all, become better people in the process. Feel free to send thoughtful topics or questions to: dividedUG@gmail.com and I'll publish your ideas for discussion. Also, follow me on Twitter at @DividedUnderGod. Thanks for stopping by!
WilliamI'm thirteen years old and have not wasted a minute of it, I devote much of my time to debunking myths, misconceptions, and lies spread by creationists and that is what I am attempting to do on this site especially those spread by the creationist Jack Wellman who also has a profile here, I also will provide evidence for evolution and may eventually branch out in this profile on to other subjects, I understand that some may consider my material to be controversial so I will attempt to provide references when ever possible, if I miss some where and you would like to see a reference I will oblige.

Victoria KearnsI am a spiritual seeker, who has journeyed in, through and out of the Church, into a deeper sense of awe and awareness of the Divine within all of us and within a universal perspective, including all cultures, religions and people. Due to an appreciation of literature as an expression of the human condition through story, myth and narrative, I earned a bachelor's degree in English and went on to work on a daily newspaper and other Western New York newspapers as a reporter, editor, in news and features. Later, I earned a masters degree in Pastoral Ministry from Christ the King Seminary, East Aurora, NY, to bring a theological understanding and spiritual awareness to my writing as well as work as a chaplain in pastoral ministry. I write about the most dire and timely concerns and issues facing us all at this time in history. I give voice and explore meaning in the challenges of the many silent heroes, deeper spiritual issues and means to connect to the divine outside the religion box. I also advocate for the marginalized and addresses systemic problems and solutions being offered through social justice advocates today. War, economic injustice, global poverty, inadequate education, domestic violence, economic justice, prison reform and repeal of the death penalty, as well as spiritual enlightenment/ evolution / ascension. I bring a journalists view of the urgency for spirituality to meet humanity's most urgent needs and brightest hopes.
