Janet CalltharpI am currently a full time, self-employed, mother of five. My oldest is in college and my youngest is three years old. Having five different aged kids, attending five different schools can be very overwhelming at times. My husband and I own a construction company, specializing in residential and commercial remodeling in the DFW area. We also offer a full-scale cabinet shop with on-site design services. I am responsible for the bookwork, accounting, vendor information and other paperwork. I enjoy the management aspect of the self-employment world. In my free time I love to shop in consignment stores and resell only boutique childrens fashions on Ebay, attend every dance class, football practice or band function that I can. And if I have any time after that I love to volunteer to help others, in any way that I can.

Kelli Lynn MarieAt 27 years old, I became a professional cosmetologist at a prestigious Salon located in South Eastern Michigan. It was always a dream of mine to become a professional in the beauty industry and have loved every minute of my journey! I know this passion is why I graduated at the top of my class at Michigan College of Beauty in Troy, Michigan. While attending cosmetology school, I worked as a part-time receptionist. This gave me an opportunity to observe and really absorb the styling techniques, situations and client care of a real-world salon professional. After school, I then served an apprenticeship for six months. I was able to truly sharpen my skills and knowledge with applying high lights, mixing and formulating hair color formulas, shampooing hair as well as proper communication with clients. Throughout my professional career, I have attended numerous world renowned beauty educational courses for the newest trends and fashions including the Redken Exchange in New York City as well as Beth Minardi's Color Class. I have traveled to Toronto, California, Chicago as well as numerous cities in Michigan learning cutting and color techniques as well as winning numerous hair style and design awards. I have attended courses on how to achieve client satisfaction, client retention including, "How to practice motivational strategies for the salon professional." I'm certified in Great Lengths Hair Extensions, the Brazilian Keratin smoothing system as well as many more professional services.

Leveda DuvalI can write endlessly about virtually anything else other than myself. So, okay, here are the basics. I'm of the variety born-in-the-early-80's-in-the-Deep-South, and I have finally been able to come to terms with that. I've been married for almost 11 years, and I have three boys;one ten, and the twins are 5. I feel what qualifies me to write on this site is not so much professional experience in writing; but experience in life in general. ( I realize at this point, there will be some of you wondering just how much experience I could have. More than you think, bub!) I've lived long enough to remember reading about "the exciting new development that scientists are calling the information superhighway or "internet" in the 3rd grade Weekly Reader. I've also lived long enough to see fashions recycle themselves and are anxiously awaiting the return of the flannel-clad '90's! I'm also currently living through trying to raise three children, manage a marriage I've been in since I was 18, as well as deal with aging parents, who will have no Social Security. I think that qualifies me as a fairly hardy specimen that knows how to research information and relay it to people in a manner where they can get the most out of it. That's about it for me at this point, but I'll be sure to keep everybody posted as soon as the next lightning bolt rocks my little life!!

AlyssaHello! I'm a 24-year-old college grad who majored in English Writing yet isn't 100% sure what she wants to do...I'd love to pull a Diablo Cody and win an Oscar for my first screenplay. Or be the next Roger Ebert, getting paid to watch movies, as I tend to call myself a "movie snob."
