I have many passions in my life, politics, fiber arts, crocheting, yarn spinning, spool knitting, felting and freeform crochet. I have even added crochet and spinning into my other passion - fly tying! In recent years I have also become more aware of state and federal politics. I believe that it is important to be an informed citizen in order to make sure we as citizens are listened to on all levels of government.
  • Michelle Clifton
My name is Michelle Clifton, better known online as The Artist Michelle. My specialization in art school was spatial art, sculpture, pottery, metal work, and anything else 3 dimensional. Currently my artistic focus has been on drawing and painting. I sell my art on multiple online venues. As you can see by my interests and areas of expertise, I have very eclectic tastes. I have moved more times than I can count. I went to 10 different schools in 12 years. As an adult I don't move quite as often, but still every couple of years or so. I recently quit my management position with a high end retailer to focus my time on my art and happiness. So far, so good. I have had to slash expenses and learn to save money wherever possible. I've also had to learn how to make extra money. All in all, my life so far has been a fascinating adventure. Hopefully I will have thoughts and ideas to share here that will be interesting to others. Thanks for taking the time to read my bio. :-)
