Andrea SargeantAn Eastern Oregon native, Andrea now lives with her husband in Portland. She spends her free time writing about politics, searching for buried treasure on the Oregon coast, and wishing there were a support group for skydivers on the wagon.
Whitney PritchardI'm a stay at home mom and a "training" housewife. I'm LEARNING to love cleaning, organizing, doing laundry, grocery shopping... but I'm just not quite there yet. I obsess over girly things like designer bags and shoes, finding the best fitting jeans and the most comfy sweats, the cutest (and tiniest) dressed, and the best quality make up. Platinum blonde hair, pro self tanner, a LOVE relationship with working out and a HATE relationship with food, a blogger, fun mommy, and an often difficult wife. I'm liberal, yet not too into politics. I just like everyone to do as they please. I write mostly because my kids don't care too much about whats going on in my mind! Won countless awards in school for writing, from kindergarten until high school, and then even in college. I flip through Vogue and Glamour, but curl up with Sylvia Plath and Elizabeth Wurtzel. Might not make sense to some, but that's okay with me! I coupon shop for fun, make a living off the internet (seriously!) and get all household supplies I can for free so I can use the money on fun stuff!
Lord Luvas DevereauxI am 20 years old currently. In the 9th grade I wrote a quatrain, my first bit of poetry and was hooked on it. Before writing anymore, I read a lot of Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe, and many novels. My first poem after that quatrain was written in the second semester of my sophomore year in high school. Ever since, I have not set down my pen. I focus primarily on poetry in my writing and usually do not write much else. I am looking forward to reading what others have done as well as share a few of my own. Also, I feel like I should explain my pen name. I chose the name "Luvas" long ago; I do not recall how I came up with it, but it stuck with me for a long time and felt right. The "Devereaux" and "Lord" were added at the same time a year later. The name "Luvas" felt incomplete, it needed a last name and the title "Lord" is not meant to be offensive. It suits me when I wear my cloak in the winter months I feel. The content submitted by me here is stuff that I did a while ago. My most recent works are by far better than what I submit here and perhaps someday I will submit them as well. At the moment though I am iffy on a few copyright issues and need to find out more before moving in that direction.
Christine SchweickertI was a journalist for more than 30 years before I got that idea that I wanted to become a schoolteacher--cancer survivor cliche--so I will use a form with which I am most familiar: bullet items. I am: --a third wife. (He's a second husband.) We met online. --a mother of five grown children. The youngest will graduate from the College of Charleston (SC) this spring. --a cancer survivor. Five years come August. Breast cancer. (Right breast, if you must know.) --a newspaper columnist who writes about women of "A Certain Age" for The State paper in Columbia, SC. I do it for free. They can't pay me and I love to write. --a customer of Publix Supermarkets because Publix alone seems to know that its express lanes should be designated for those wishing to purchase "10 items or FEWER." --a lover of red wine. --wishing I could move to Ireland. --a big reader. About 75 to 100 books a year. Scandinavian police procedurals top the list. I don't "do" girl books--no romances for me. I prefer thickly textured books of many genres. (I'm trying out urban noir fantasy right now.) --a person who loves the taste of words in my mouth. Favorite words? "Festering pustules." (OK, so maybe I don't like how THOSE taste.) --a person who does not suffer fools, which causes me problems. --a sterling friend. --a devout but somewhat "cafeteria" Catholic.

JaydeesLaydeeI'm the mom to two sons, and love chickens, Chihuahuas and ducks. I'm 38 years old, dob 1-17-72. I live in NE Oklahoma with my mom, kids and pets. I work as a personal assistant, publicist, and webmaster. I write in my free time.
RafZI'm Rafia, 21 years of age, studying BS (JH) in Economics and Finance at IOBM, one of the best business institutes in Pakistan. I hope to graduate by the end of 2010 and plan to do my Masters in Marketing from the same institute. Doing so will enable me to add diversity to my professional career. Having mentioned my current education status, I would like to say a few lines about my personality. I love freedom; I believe that everyone is born free and is entitled to achieve all they aspire to. I love to help and guide others. Moreover once I aim at achieving something I try to give my best. I love listening to music and my favorite genres include rock, hip hop and pop. Besides this I enjoy watching sports, especially tennis and hardly ever miss any Grand slams. My most memorable time was spent at my college from where I grew up to be what I am today. The experience is unforgettable as my personality changed considerably since then from a carefree to a mature person. Getting admission at IOBM called for greater responsibility and hard work which seems to be increasing with every new semester as the courses get tougher. Last but not the least, I believe in enjoying life to the fullest with all my loved ones including family and friends. Once I am done with my education and begin earning a decent livelihood I plan to donate a portion of it to the needy.
