  • Baruch Solomon
One thing I've learned in life is to enjoy what I have instead always focusing on what I want or the things we're supposed to want. So if I appear a bit laid back at times, it isn't that I don't have ideals or care passionately about things, but that I value each day as a gift, and if I ever go down with a stroke or terminal cancer, I'd like to have a few happy memories to look back on. In my life I try to keep a balance between helping people, intellectual and creative endeavour and getting close to nature. As I run a gardening business for a living, the last of these presents the least difficulties. Luckily, it also leaves me enough time for my writing and overseas charity work, which are both very important to me.
