Gina Burns is an avid gardener and writer. She enjoys getting outside to work in her many different types of gardens, and watching all of the birds that visit her birdfeeders. Jennifer Pfaff is a multimedia journalist based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. She works full time as a Web editor and copy editor, although her journalism background also includes magazine feature writing, news reporting, entertainment writing, blogging and PR communications.

For many years I was a landscape contractor, and now a UCCE Master Gardener. I have been actively creating community gardens and furthering science-based gardening education through on-site coaching, classes and public demonstrations.

I serve on the District Advisory Council for the San Bernardino City Schools, the School Site Council for Arrowview Middle School, the San Bernardino County Preschool Services Department's Head Start Policy Council, and the Waterman Gardens Head Start Parent Advisory Committee.
