I have always loved writing. My pen name is Elizabeth Hayes. It is my way of honoring my grandparents that raised me. I am a student, freelance writer and editor, and a dreamer. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and fiancee. Some of my hobbies include reading, writing, gemology, and photography.

Lisa is a life long Kansas City resident. Lisa worked for the last twenty-five plus years in a sales capacity, lastly, 10 years the custom printing industry. Recently sidelined from the traditional workforce with a medical disability, she now looks at The Yahoo Contributor Network to rekindle passions from the past. Always an avid reader and word nerd, Lisa considered a career in journalism in high school and has always dreamed of writing a novel, one day. Lisa is a volunteer tutor for a local literacy group, teaching adult readers. Current hobbies include gemology, jewelry and geology.

Danny Garabet, the son of Leon and Margaret Garabet, was born in Beirut, Lebanon before his family moved to Brooklyn, New York in 1972. They moved again to settle in Los Angeles, California in 1979. Danny earned a Civil Engineering B.S. degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology, in 1978 and terminated the graduate program towards the Master's Degree in Seismology from the University of Southern California in 1980. He also earned the Professional Engineering license from the State of California in 1982. He joined the staff of NASA's space shuttle program working for Rockwell International in 1979 and received an award from Columbia's first mission astronauts, John Young and Robert Crippen, for successfully testing the Thermal Protection System for the space shuttle. In January 1973, he joined The World Lebanese Cultural Union [WLCU] in New York City. In May 2005 he was elected in Sydney, Australia as the World President of the World Lebanese Cultural Union, the sole Lebanese official representative of the Lebanese Diaspora. He successfully applied for the WLCU to become an NGO at the United Nations. He received numerous awards from WLCU affiliated institutions in the United States, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Great Britain, Australia and South Africa. In 2002, he served for two years as a member of the Board of Directors at The Lebanese American Foundation, House of Lebanon in Los Angeles. In November 2007 he joined the Board of the Lebanese American Renaissance Foundation, LARP, based in Washington, DC. Coming from a family of jewelers, Danny founded Golden Pacific Jewelry in 1984 after earning a degree in gemology from the Gemological Institute of America, GIA. He also loves to design jewelry. Danny is the CEO and co-founded of Golden State Jewelry, a wholesale/retail jewelry store located in the International Jewelry District in Downtown Los Angeles.
