Mrs. TunaMrs. Tuna, is a forty something wife and mother who knows she looks way younger than the plaintiffs on Judge Judy. She lives in sunny Arizona with her husband of almost three decades. the Big Tuna, who she married when she was eleven and her beautifully stunning but oddly nerdy college daughter, "Sheldon". She started writing her humorous recipe blog in 2010 as a way to share ways to avoid actually spending time in the kitchen and more time drinking white wine over ice with her girlfriends. When she isn't cruising other peoples blogs to stalk for new followers, she works full time as a Project Manager and goes to ASU full time working toward a degree in Urban Planning. This on top of riding her horse, volunteering in professional organizations, mentoring students blah, blah, blah. Don't we all hate overachievers?
Rachel BinghamA writer by nature, Are-Be fell in love with the written word years ago. Her passions are many and varied; from poetry to sports to home decor. A compassionate single mother to a teenage son, she is constantly striving to achieve the arts of flexibility and understanding with the goal of mastering the illusive art of patience (a work in progress, no doubt). A football enthusiast and relationship guru (at least to her girlfriends), her sincere desire is that millions will read and enjoy her myriad thoughts and words of wisdom born of years of challenges, joys and pains, triumphs and failures and recognize in themselves, these same struggles. For it often happens that through another's soul expressions we are able to see our own way to ascension.
Katherine McGowanThe one thing that you really need to know about me is that I'm the queen of the nerds. I love absolutely everything and anything that has to do with science fiction, anime, video games, comic books, etc. My dream job is to work for a production company for anime or manga. One of my biggest passions is cosplay, that's where you pick an anime character and dresses up like them for a convention. Cosplay is a whole lot of fun and it's a great way to meet people with similar interests. Though I'm a nerd, that doesn't mean I'm a shut in. I love getting outside and enjoying the fresh air. Whether its riding my bike, shopping with my girlfriends, or beating my guy friends at video games, I'm always up for getting out and about. I want to expand my writing and make myself known since I'm playing on working in the writing field, which is my motivation for writing on this website. My biggest dreams are to get at least one of my novels finished and published and to work for the anime/manga industry.

Jill SamuelJill Samuel is married to her high school sweetheart who together raise a teenage son. She has had nearly 20 years of customer service experience in her professional life and loves to read mystery/romance novels, garden, play with her dogs and offers her own real life experiences to help others. She also enjoys driving to unknown places with no map (or sense of direction) with one of her best girlfriends. Calling them adventures, though they are still fairly close to home, enough excitement for a novel undoubtedly will become of the day.
allyce ferruaI love life; friends and a good slice of pizza is what makes it. I think laughter is a pretty cool thing, I'm almost done with school, which I super love. I love old school cartoons, I hate people that wear sweatshirts with names of schools that they dont go too, I like people that have a good amount of self esteem, I dislike people that are so full of themselves that they have lost sight of what really matters, chocolate milk and lasagna. I love travelling, I hate people who think they can communicate with the wind, I love Lena horne, I cant stand Sheena Easton. Since I have nothing else to say, I leave you with my favorite quotes: President Josiah Bartlet: I was watching a television program before, with a kind of roving moderator who spoke to a seated panel of young women who were having some sort of problem with their boyfriends - apparently, because the boyfriends had all slept with the girlfriends' mothers. And they brought the boyfriends out, and they fought, right there on television. Toby, tell me: these people don't vote, do they? I am a journalist/photographer for a couple different publications. I am also working on my degree in Middle Eastern studies/communications.
OC CharlotteI'm a 38 year old lawyer and mother to two children. Most of my friends are female, not married and without children. I love my life! I love being with my family but I also love spending time with my girlfriends sharing new ideas and growing in experiences.
Jewel MignonI am a woman who has a serious passion for fashion. My favorite triggers are shoes, vintage wear, and great deals! I have a blog I started called theshoelooker.blogspot.com because my husband was tired of hearing me talk about them, and my girlfriends, although amused, were starting to think I was going to become the old crazy lady with a thousand pairs of shoes instead of a thousand cats! (That is fine with me, less smell!)

Jose SalviatiJose Salviati is a twenty year IT professional with a disturbingly intense passion for technology, gadgets and sports. He has seen MJ drop 50 in Chicago, spent time just outside the "Other LA Basketball Teams" locker-room with the wives and girlfriends of players and was at the 1986 game the Angels lost after being one strike away from the Series. He considers himself an "Average Jose" (the Latin version of Average Joe); just a guy with an admiration for watching two teams compete. Originally from Argentina he lives in Southern California with his wife, four kids, two dogs, one guinea pig and a bearded dragon.
Damani MorrisonI don't know why I feel the way I do, but I am angry. Angry at the world, angry at anyone who questions me and angry at myself and what I have become. By all means I am on track when it comes to succeeding at life but I feel a lingering sense of discontent. There is no explanation for this interpersonal conundrum. I am overwhelmed with anxiety, stress and depression. I am also constantly worried about the future. I think of moving to a different country and starting all over very often, but as nice as that sounds, I will most likely never execute that idea. Another thing that frequently crosses my mind is marrying the mother of my child. This something that could happen in the not to distant future but isn't by any means inevitable. As I write this I am sitting in my girlfriends bathroom contemplating my life on a laptop so I will digress. Writing is my one and only outlet. Creating something that might possibly enrich someone elses life brings me much joy.
Lisa LaVelleLisa Sebring is one of the two co founders and CEO of John Thomas Tools. She has been urban pioneering for over sixteen years. She is an avid gardener, size queen, Irish American, lover of the written word and a graduate of the "Fresh off the Farm and into the Hood, School of Hard Knocks". She is a traditionally single urban mother of three and Loretta Lynnishly young grandmother of three more (the Irish are known to reproduce quickly). Lisa enjoys spending time writing, gardening, "porchin' it" with her girlfriends, cruising the beautiful Buckeye state and pretending she is a National Geographic photo journalist, hiding on her porch and photographing the urban inhabitants in their natural setting.
Tina Drakakis (eyerollingmom)I am a tremendous fan of all things witty. If you are funny, you are likely my friend. I would leave my husband for Jon Stewart, Keith Urban or Sawyer from "Lost" and he's well aware of it. I am happiest writing and raising four kids (yet I'd trade any or all of them for great shoes). I tend to drink WAY too much wine if the music's awesome and I spend WAY too much time on PerezHilton.com and I've (okay) allowed my kids to see PG-13 movies WAY before their thirteenth birthday. I still have girlfriends from fifth grade and think that's a beautiful thing. I wish the same for my daughter. My Skirt! essays include "Little Baby Fug" (January 2009), "The Thinking Girl's Thong" (July 2008), and "Friendvy" (January 2008). Words I live by: "Put on some lipstick -- you'll be fine." I am most proud of: 4 kids presently evading jail time. I am most guilty of: Poking fun at everyone, everything, anytime. (Including me.) The world would be a better place, if only: Lindsay Lohan would go away. Profession: freelance humor/lifestyle columnist; reality-TV-has-been

KathyI am a mother of 4 wonderful children, age 25, 21, 13 and 7 years old. Their 1st name all starts with z, thus we call them our 4zs. I have been married 26 years to a very loving and supportive husband. He is calm, whereas, I am very passionate. His dedication to the family and our goals never wavered. He is the rock of the family. Besides raising 4 children, I work full time for a major airline, and co owns a little restaurant with my 2 girlfriends. Life is not perfect, but I will not trade it for anything else.
Amanda BathoryI've been writing, in one way or another, for as long as I can remember. Growing up my favorite authors were Judy Blume and Beverly Cleary. When I was in third grade my parents divorced, and I'd sit in my room writing in my journal and creating my stories. I have a tendency to embellish and love to entertain people. In high school, I was lucky enough to have a close group of girlfriends and an amazing boyfriend that have inspired a lot of my stories. My friends from that time are still my closest friends, so it's never very hard to put myself back into that place, that voice. Also it doesn't hurt to still be living in my hometown, where my memories of those times are everywhere I turn. I attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Fl and majored in Elementary Education. After college I returned to my hometown with more stories and characters to share. It wasn't until my mother passed away that I decided to share my writing with the public. I just finished writing my first young adult novel and I am in the process of looking for an agent. I have had some of my short stories published on different websites and also currently write the blog City Living Puppy.
