  • Meagan Irish
I am that small town girl you see in the movies or hear about in a country song. I love bonfires, I drive a truck, I ride horses, I enjoy a good beer when I can, and I love my family. I have always been a creative person and writing has always been very natural for me. I enjoy expressing myself through stories and putting my heart and soul into every piece.

  • Allex Hernandez
Allex Hernandez, a recent college graduate from the University of Illinois, is not quite ready to give up on her college years. Seeing as she should have minored in the Champaign nightlife, she knows a good beer when she tastes one. Whether it's an on-campus hot spot or a locals only pub downtown, she's got your bases covered.

He graduated in May of 2010 from Hofstra University with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and is looking forward to facing the many challenges the industry will throw at him. When he's not covering local high school sports for Patch.com, Mike spends his time obsessing over the world of professional sports. I love to participate in fantasy sports leagues, especially fantasy football. I'm a hardcore Falcons fan, and I'm extremely happy that they are good again. I also love the Braves and will miss Bobby Cox, but I think Fredi Gonzalez was the perfect choice, and should get the Braves deep into October. I also root for and support the Washington Redskins, since I live in the DC area now.
  • The Stout
When I was born, my father was learning Karate and would bring me to the lessons where I would watch. Neither my parents nor my Master know, when I stopped watching, and started taking the lessons as well. When I was fourteen, my master retired, and I was left to face the high school alone. I joined the basketball team, and learned quickly that I am not very good at it. I graduated and moved on to university, where I proceeded to fail my classes for the next 3 years. It is here that I learned to play both D&D and Broomball. I floated from major to major, starting with Engineering. Next I tried, Communications, Mathmatics, Chemistry, Linguistics, and finally settled on History and English. Then met a Beautiful women and am now engaged. The End.

  • Amy Faatz
I am the mother of three beautiful children. They are the joy of my life and also my biggest challenge. I have been a secretary for a beer wholesaler for the last twenty years. I make a good salary and have excellent benefits but I long to be able to have a flexible schedule so I can be at home when my children need me. I have many interests, but limited time due to the age of my children and the long commute time that is added to my work day. I love everything about photos and was a Consultant with Creative Memories for 8 years, educating others about caring for their photos, and the benefits of creating family photo albums to enjoy. My dream is to have control of my life and be my own boss while establishing a happy healthy environment for myself and my family.

  • Debbie Henthorn
Debbie has been blessed with an incurable wanderlust. Former jobs included extensive travel throughout the United States, making it possible for this self-proclaimed "food/beer/wine geek" to taste the country. Currently a student at Columbus State Community College, she is pursuing a journalism degree. As a longtime owner of a licensed home bakery, Debbie is also an experienced farmers market vendor and shopper. Local food is good food and she's a strong advocate of getting back into our own kitchens and teaching kids the difference between a tomato and ketchup. An avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and a lifelong resident of Central Ohio, Debbie is passionate about Columbus and all the things it has to offer. If you need any help finding your way around the latest crop of orange barrels, send out a distress signal! In the past, Debbie worked as a title agent for 8 years, owning her own company. Later, she became the operations manager for a national inventory company, supervising a staff of 28. Before, during and after, Debbie was a professional bartender and server over a period of more than 15 years. A single mother of two grown children, Debbie completed the tour of parenting from the terrible twos to the trauma-filled tweens and into the angst-filled adulthood and all that came with it. The school activities and fundraisers rounded out those years. For fun Debbie and her man like to get off the beaten path and discover those little places that leave a lasting impression. "The world is my home and it has many rooms - I have not yet begun to see them all."
