I'm just a wine chick trying to catch a break. Great wines don't have to come with a heavy price tag. Wine Chicks Guide is a wine blog focusing on inexpensive yet good and sometimes bad wines. I'll seek out the great tasting affordable wines as well as share my experience with the wines you may want to avoid. In today's economy the everyday wine drinker is forced to follow an affordable wine budget. Follow me and my trials and tribulations in my quest to find great tasting inexpensive wines.

I am a stay-at-home and wife to a Navy Reservist who just returned from deployment. I will be attending graduate school at UC Davis in the fall, where I will be studying Linguistics. I am a veteran of the US Air Force, and I studied Arabic while in the service. I like to go to spin class, read fiction novels, drink good wine, and spend time exercising my imagination playing Barbies with my daughter.

I am a resident of the UK, and am currently living in the beautiful city of Oxford. I, like many of us men love the latest gadgets and boys toys, a cold beer or two with my mates and of course football. But my real passions are good food, good wine and travel.
