Born NYC, reared in Bloomington, IN, my heart's of two cities. Went to IU as mom w/ 2 boys. Married a good man w/encyclopedic brain (very handy!). Became homebirth educator and apprentice midwife. Had 3 more kids, ran a daycare, never stopped writing!

BA in Religious Studies with a Certificate in Jewish Studies and a minor in Spanish from Arizona State University, wife of a US Marine and vegan. Into attachment parenting (expecting first any day now), gender studies, pets, cooking, bargain shopping, midwifery/homebirth, alternative medicine and health, etc. etc.

Jody lives in western PA with her three youngest children. She is an affiliated Natural Childbirth Educator and Doula, raw foodist, vegetarian, homebirth mom, unschooler and writer.

Angie Sills was born in the foothills of North Carolina and felt she could not get out quick enough. She moved to Florida at age seventeen with Karty Sills. They were married on a trash heap by a fireman after sharing twelve happy years. They have operated a fishing guide service since 1992, Gone Fishing Guide Service. She has created, maintains and markets their website, www.CaptKarty.com. Homebirth and breastfeeding became important aspects of their lives as two wonderful daughters joined their family. Angie has enjoyed homeschooling their daughters since their education began. "I have learned so much!"

I am an Adjunct College Professor and Freelance Author. I spend most of my days homeschooling my children and preparing for class in the evening. My experiences and interests are diverse and range from homebirth to orogenic geology. Through my research for my Master Degree and my professoral duties, I am also well versed in culutural issues especially the relationships between governments and minority cultural groups.

I'm a stay at home to one (soon to be two) children. I'm vocal and involved in the homebirth community, as well as a strong supporter of breastfeeding, not vaccinating, and homeschool.
