I am a mother of a 1 year old little boy. He has been the inspiration of my newest endeavor as a homemade baby food educator and consultant. I started Mush Homemade Baby Food in July of 2010 and now teach for several mom's groups throughout the Phoenix/Scottsdale AZ area. I am a pediatric physical therapist by trade and love working with babies birth to age 3. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have been married to my wonderful and supportive husband for almost 4 years and we are expecting our second baby in May 2011.

I am a working Mom with two small children. I have a passion for writing on almost any subject, but love crafts. I will focus my crafting articles on simple ways to make the best homemade gifts. I have been doing and teaching crafting my whole life. My Mother taught me young, and I intend to carry that forward.

I'm a jack of all trades so to speak! I know a little about a lot of things but I know a lot about a few things too! I love to read and write about my life. I make and sell soaps, lotions, bath salts and other natural body care items. I have recently decided to try my hand and making my own wine since I love it but can't always justify the cost of it, so I decided I make all sorts of other things why not wine too! So I did! I have my first gallon waiting to be racked in the next week or so! I design and make jewelry as well! This has been a very fulfilling hobby that I recently discovered I can make money from. People love things that are homemade. Professionally I work as the lead purchasing agent for a medical facility here in Tucson. My job is exciting and I really love what I do

Although we live in a big city, I strive to keep my life as simple and healthy as possible. I want to encourage people to get back to the basics when to comes to mothering and homekeeping. Trust me, its fun making life homemade!

Orit Vagima is a licensed homeopath with her own private practice. There she can practice what she loves to do most: Getting everybody healthy again. My inspiration for baking was a real operating light bulb Suzy Homemaker oven (circa 1968) my mom bought me from a garage sale in the mid 70's. I never had an Easy Bake Oven, or its prepackaged mixes. My appreciation for homemade recipes can be attributed to my parents family farming, whether it be pecan crops, peanuts, potatoes, corn, squash and summers picking wild blackberries and putting up jellies, and homegrown vegetables. I won my first baking contest for 4H in 5th grade. The rest is history...My volume feeding professor at FIU School of Hospitality Mgmt urged me to continue my culinary studies, especially in Pastry and with my writing skills. He said I was destined to be a writer (my English Comp & Philosophy Professors also told me the same). He said I had an understanding of production from field to plate that many of his other students did not have. I tend to be everyone's "google" for friends and family memebers seeking answers and information on many subjects. I thought I should put this talent to good use.

I love to act, sing and most of all, write. I'm writing two novels at this time, and have also recorded a single song and acted in several homemade movies. I live my life for God and I hope to encourage people with my writing.

I love writing and when I am not sitting at my desk writing freelance articles, I am spending time with my five children, reading or enjoying a Nascar race. I also enjoy cooking from scratch, making homemade items and living simple and green as I can.
