Hello, my name is Mandy and I have lived in Missouri for the past 14 years. I am married to my best friend of 10 years, Michael. We have two children ages 16 and 8! We homeschool the both of them and they are doing excellent in their studies! We are so proud of them and their efforts to continue their education! We volunteer when the time presents itself! Living life to the fullest for me is learning new things and spending quality time with my family. After years of working in a Catholic School Library where my boys were enrolled, I decided to quit working to homeschool. Ever since, we have been loving life and enjoying learning together. I've recently returned to school to learn digital media. The boys and I have made short videos together and expanded our interests in creating stories using digital media. We are tackling the challenge of learning Final Cut Pro 6 for video editing. I have a passion for reading all book genres and loved my time as a school librarian where I helped students develop an interest in reading by finding books that suited their interests. I love sharing literature with children and adults. My interests outside of reading are yoga, healthy food (juicing & smoothies) and photography.

Football is her favorite sport and the New York Jets are her favorite NFL team. She has earned a blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do. Lynda coached fast-pitch softball at the recreation league level and high school level. Her experience includes 5 years with Raleigh Parks and Rec as a fast-pitch coach and 2 years as an assistant coach with Broughton High School. Another passion is dog rescue. Lynda volunteers at a local, no-kill dog and cat shelter where she handles most of the "problem children" and larger dog breeds. She has three dogs, all of them are shelter dogs or rescues. Izzy is a Treeing Walker Coonhound, Sophie is a Chinese Shar Pei, and Romeo is an AKC registered Bedlingotn Terrier. Romeo has championship bloodlines and Lynda's goal for him is to get him trained for agility competition and to show him locally.
