I am a student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine with a planned graduation date of 2013, and am a 2009 graduate in chemistry from the Pennsylvania State University. My interests include dentistry, sports, and reading. I have had extensive writing experience throughout high school and college and can send samples upon request. I have a particular interest in reviewing current trends and hot topics in healthcare and medicine by using best evidence to educate others.

I come from a small town by the name of Eckville, located at the base of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary in Pennsylvania. I am the middle child of three, the only girl. I learned to keep pace with the boys by climbing trees, swimming in ponds, fishing, building forts and getting lots of cuts and bruises! Currently, I live in Ironton, PA, not too far from my stomping grounds. I have three lovely children, two girls, one boy, and a hard working husband, whom I met as a child while building forts in the woods with my best friend. I ve always had a love for reading and writing. While working towards my BS in Technical Management and minoring in Graphic Design, I am secretly thinking of books to write! But this is not where it ends. I have many passions and loves in life, which include art, photography, sewing, music, wine, and socializing or striking up a juicy debate on hot topics with my friends and family. Given the short amount of time we have on this planet, I plan to do as much as humanly possible within my means.
