After studying journalism only to end up working at sporadic jobs after college ranging from a printing company to a stint as a waitress, my day job is finally one I enjoy and makes papa proud -- professional marketing copywriting. But don't mistake me for boring! I can tell a story that's dressed up in a pinstriped suit or one that prefers PJs! In my spare time I enjoy observing and celebrating human quirks (especially my own), learning more about the world and my place in it, and sharing my findings with anyone who is kind enough to lend me a moment. I reside near a booming metropolis called Charlotte, N.C. with my fuzzy white dog, two content cats, and an entourage of "on the brink" houseplants.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and I teach psychology part-time at area universities. My area of expertise is health psychology, and I have conducted research to help people make important health behavior changes, such as losing weight, ceasing tobacco use, and exercising more. I grew up near Philadelphia and live in South Jersey with my husband and our myriad houseplants. I have an unnatural obsession with covering things in chocolate.
