Samantha DayI was born and spent the first 18 years of my life in the UK. Having decided from a young age that I wanted to travel and leave the UK, I jumped at the chance having finished college to escape from the 'ratrace'and head to the Mediterranean. Summers working on beaches, travel office, meeting local Romeos taught me the local languages and gave me my passion for travel. Years then spent working as a holiday rep and tour guide then gave me my Bridget Jones style humour and ironically enough lifestyle! The tales I would write to my friends of a typical day for me would have them in fits of laughter and my eratic lovelife and admiration from the medallion clad Greek gods soon earnt me my nickname of 'Bridget Jones'. Having moved on to the real estate market where I have now been living for 8 years in Cyprus, I also decided to start writing a book on my life and loves as a holiday rep and how my life in Greek and Cyprus has been and is one big FAT GREEK WEDDING!
