I am a stay at home mother of three young children. Formerly, I was employed as a Preschool Director and Early Childhood Educator specializing in infants and toddlers. For a short time I worked with children under the age of 6 that have have tested on the spectrum for Autism. Although I have experience in many theories in how young children learn, my personal opinion is that children under the age of four learn best through play. I love anything creative and enjoy making custom cakes, planning parties, crafts, and cooking. I also have experience in the area of wedding and party planning. I have my own blog called Preschool Mommy, where I celebrate motherhood, little kids and play! I hope you will visit me at preschoolmommy.com

I have a keen interest in the physiological and clinical aspects of adult and childhood obesity and its related effects, especially in infants and children of different ethnicities, since obesity has become such a global issue. My primary area of study has been Clinical/Medical Nutrition Therapy and its importance in understanding the underlying causes of obesity and its related health disorders such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and some cancers. I am presently working on several projects ranging from behavioral to clinical/biochemical interventions in the prevention and treatment of obesity and related disorders. I have authored and co-authored several peer reviewed articles on obesity, nutrition, health, and wellness. I am also very interested in applying my passion for cooking into making gourmet meals that eliminate the excess fat and sugar but not the taste of the food. I offer healthy recipes on my facebook page Fancy Sans Flabby This page is designed to offer simple, inexpensive, homemade healthy gourmet meals.

  • Keri Wilmot
As a pediatric occupational therapist, practicing in the Greater Boston area, with almost 10 years of clinical experience, Keri has worked with many children with varying developmental delays and disabilities. She specializes in working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and elementary school age children to enhance their gross motor skills, fine motor skills, and sensory processing skills. Keri spent five years working in an Early Intervention Program providing home based occupational therapy. For this work, she is recognized by the state of Massachusetts with her Certification as an Early Intervention Specialist. In clinical settings, Keri is a current team member of a High Risk Infant Follow-Up Clinic at a local children's hospital that provides developmental testing and screening to premature infants and graduates of the Special Care Nursery. She is trained in sensory diet interventions that include the Wilbarger Therapressure Protocol and Vital Links Therapeutic Listening Programs to aid in sensory integration. When therapy sessions last from 30 minutes to an hour, it is always a challenge to find a captivating and motivating toy to target specific skills and demonstrate home program suggestions to parents, in such a short time frame. Though her experience is mostly with children with disabilities, the recommendations Keri shares on this website, are toys that she believes can be helpful for any child to stimulate educational growth, so as to achieve developmental milestones in a fun, playful and natural way.
  • T.B. Taylor
Born Venus Marie Eddy into the common circumstances of parents too young to parent alone, she was presented with great love to the the North Pole, where she was kept from most of the natural experiences of Humans. At 5, it was decided she be returned to "the Real World", because you cannot help people you don't understand, and though we may not understand everything about someone else, we should at least try. The process of growing up Human when you start off a fairy princess takes it's toll, but gives greater understanding, and it is through this process of suffering, that a Taunta is created. As precious as life is, suicide is has been explored. As loving as her nature is, she knows hatred for those who contentiously commit pain. Her nature is to nurture, but her fight is ferocious. It is the purpose of a Taunta to both be of this World, and above it. It is her duty to share with Others according to need and ability. Taunta Beanie, though feeling inadequate to serve in such an important way, is a Taunta who who gives to the Cosmos through writing. Some of these writings are of Human experience, and mundane information shared for the simplest of aids. Some of these writings are of a Cosmic nature, and intended to speak to Beings withIn and withOut, that even she does not fully Understand. All are intended to be of help. There will always be those who call her by the child-name, and others will have their own monikers they gift her with, but those who know her and love her best call this one Taunta Beanie. While participating in the Human World, Taunta Beanie has worked with children from infants through teenagers in different capacities including teacher and adviser. She has also aided in the care of the ailing Claus's giving her a geriatric perspective as well. Because of her open honest, and not always cheerful presentation of the internal happenings of her life, she is respected as an emotional counselor with a focus on the Spiritual. Spending time
  • Babies 411 - Diba Tillery
www.Babies411.com - Babies have always been a passion of mine, even at a very young age. It was not surprising to my family that I chose a career as a neonatal nurse. Throughout my nursing career, I have cared for many infants and have been exposed to a multitude of parental concerns. Utilizing my knowledge, skill and expertise, I have assisted many parents in transitioning into their new roles. Through the gratification of helping these families, the vision of Babies 411 was born. I founded Babies 411 to offer assistance, share information, and offer support to parents and soon-to-be parents. We are dedicated to promoting the health, safety and well-being of babies.
