  • My name is Phil. I play music, read a lot, think too much, drink excessively (caffeine mostly) and I like cats. I studied English and Linguistics in college, and am currently trying to discover a way use my talents for the greater good. I figured writing would be a good start. I think human nature is fascinating, and I frequently ponder in a quasi-philosophical way the affecting relationships between existence and modern society. But most of the time I just listen to music and try to invent cool band names like 'alien farmers' or 'wily technicians.' Those were today's ideas..

  • Hali Danielson
Hali Danielson was born on Thanksgiving Day of 1987, thereby absolving her mom from that year’s Thanksgiving duties (you’re welcome, Mom). Since then, Hali has been working, and even occasionally succeeding, in continuing that streak of helping her fellow human. In 2010, Hali received a Bachelor’s Degree in Russian Linguistics from the University of Chicago, and subsequently classified herself as a member of “Generation Limbo,” (look it up, people) in order to dodge questions concerning the practicality and real-world applicability of such a degree. In her pursuit to find more marketable skills, Hali spends her time reading about politics, hip-hop, and cooking, in the hope that her dream of becoming a rapping chef pundit will one day come true. Hali does not usually refer to herself in the third person.
