MINIATURES

I am a current student of Florida State University, hailing from Orlando Florida. I thoroughly enjoy film, as well as collecting, assembling, and painting miniatures.

Techie guy from early on (I remember coping lines of code when I was 7), later games of all kinds got my interest and the bussines side of life so I opened one, a boardgames, RPG's, Miniatures store, dealing with imported games (and accesories) from the U.S. and Europe. Currently I'm serving a second term as a board member for the retail divsion of the Games Manafucturers Association. I'm an avid reader of fiction novels and comic books, I keep current witht the news and watch as manyTV shows as time allows.

Lucas is a housing and family finance educator living in the Western US. Professional passions include increasing awareness of community resources, preparing families for home ownership, assisting households with debt, credit, and budgeting issues, and helping families identify and minimize financial risks they may face. In particular he enjoys working with low income households in helping them become financially independent and achieving their housing goals/dreams. Lucas's expertise comes from formal education and hands on experience working for local housing nonprofits and HUD counseling agencies. He currently serves as a board member for the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Lucas loves to spend time with his dear wife and five children, who have introduced him to a variety of new interests. When he has extra time he enjoys creating board/card games and modifying existing ones. Of particular interest are strategic, tabletop, and cooperative games. He also enjoys painting/modeling 25 to 32mm miniatures and creating terrain. He is an avid reader and rarely goes anywhere without a book just in case he has a spare minute at hand. He particularly enjoys history, fantasy, and mysteries. His love for reading has spawned a interest in writing, something that he hopes to continue to explore and capitalize upon.

Non-profit management, volunteer leadership and education have been primary in Mary's professional life. She taught art classes to both children and adults at DOD MWR, DOD Schools, Merced Junior College, Threlkeld Art Studio Workshops as well as elementary classrooms and community art groups. She enjoys drawing, painting, scale miniatures and many other hobbies, crafts, sewing and needle arts. Mary held many positions with the Officers' Wives' Club and enjoyed taking advantage of writing for the club magazines, teaching arts & crafts as well as participating in gourmet cooking clubs. Mary's many interests and talents blended well with her life as a military wife and mother of two. Serving as a Girl Scout leader for several years allowed her to share her many interests with both her daughters as well as volunteer in the community. Mary also served through the American Red Cross as a station manager, caseworker, disaster services volunteer/ instructor and community disaster education instructor/presenter.
