MY WIFE.

Grew up in the Puget Sound area of Western Washington State. Moved to Wisconsin as a teenager and experienced complete culture shock. Graduated from college and entered the United States Army. I obtained the rank of Captain within the Military Police Corp. During my time on active duty, I was able to finish my Masters and start a family. After active duty, I was an Officer within the Wisconsin Army National Guard and a full time Financial Planner in my civilian life. I have been a practitioner of meditation for 20+ years now and have taught guided meditation for over eight years. During this time, I have also learned about the health benefits of practicing yoga and have integrated this into my daily meditation / exercise routine. I am married to my wife, Julie and we have 4 children. Our eldest is a junior in college, we have a senior in high school, a 4 year old and a 2 year old.

Born in Oxford, MS, son of a sharecropper and carpenter, (my dad) and a lifelong waitress, (my mom) I grew up from very poor and humble beginnings. Moved to Memphis, TN at a young age and lived there until I was 12 yrs. old. These years have alot to do with who I am today. Memphis was a tough place to grow up in the late 60's and early seventies. When my father passed away in 1974, mom moved us to West Yellowstone, MT. Holy Crap! Talk about a culture shock, and an environmental shock. Details on that later. I attended Jr. High and High School there and graduated in 1981. I am the only member of my family (immediate or extended) that had ever attempted to go to college.(what was I thinking?) After a short stint there, I moved to Idaho Falls, ID where I lived for about 30 years. (lots of stories there) Just last year, my wife, daughter and myself moved to sunny Phoenix, AZ where we currently reside.

I am married and live in New Jersey with my wife and family. My favorite sport is golf and to that end I have a website in which I do golf equipment reviews. I plan on submitting articles on the subject of golf and related topics to golf. I have played the sport for over 35 years and have a handicap of approximately 8. I also love the New Jersey shore and coast line. I enjoy walking, being with my family and serviing my savior Jesus Christ.

I am retired and live with my wife in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. We travel at least twice a year (usually to Florida to visit with our son and daughter-in-law and our grand daughters) and hopefully as time goes on we can get in a little bit more. I was born in New Jersey but have now lived in Pennsylvania for over 26 years but now getting tired of the COLD winters. So soon, Southland Here We Come.

I’ve been called to blog for almost a year now, and this journey God has inspired me to take has been AMAZING! We’ve welcomed another daughter to the Wolfe’s Den, raising our grand total to five beautiful girls. I say “we” because my wife and family are the biggest part of me, next to my walk with the Father. We live in rural South Georgia with our dog, Bella, and cat Jazzy. Relationships are kind of a specialty of mine…especially with members of the opposite sex (considering I’m the only boy out of five children and live in a house full of women- including the dog, excluding the cat). Though I’m not a pastor, psychologist or the like, I feel that I’m starting to connect with God’s will for my life. I'm a widow I've been living in a little island off the coast of Puerto Rico. My wife was the most beautiful woman until the earthquake that devastated our home town left us with nothing in our hands. I now work in meager jobs handling myself in the hopes of keeping my head in good faith. I love to write. As a little boy I would follow the tribal kids outside our town to the pigeon holes. You see, the pigeon holes was a spot of treasure chest for boys of my age. In it laid cadavers of thousands of birds buried between the sediments of ruble and earth. Many legends were foretold that tried to explain, why? I tried not think of it too much. Day in and night out the mysterious effect tried to pull me to its ruins for another visit that I cannot explain til this day.

I am an aspiring author and poet. I was born in Baton Rouge, LA, and I have traveled the world throughout my childhood. I use what I have experienced in my writing as well as in my life. My family finally settled in southwest Ohio, where I still live with my wife of 2 1/2 years. I have struggled to make my own path in life, but I believe now that I'm finally following the right one.
