JPeasleeI love to write...I would write about nearly anything, except sports. Definitely. Not. Sports. My favorite topics are on interesting tidbits found in my local paper or in the Odd News section online.

Jonathan MusereMy routine includes randomly and systematically websurfing. I hope that many of my fellow earthlings have gone beyond the Google web pages, into the news archives...many are magnified and free. Favorite sites include livescience.com, sciencedaily.com, whfoods.org, boxrec.com, sports-reference.com, iaaf.org, universalsports.com, bestplaces.net, blackplanet.com, allafrica.com, amazon.com; and news, sports, science, and health articles on Yahoo. Odd news on Yahoo is quite humorous. As is commonly known about this Los Angeles setting, life can be stranger and more spectacular than fiction. The beauty of television (and web surfing, inter alia) is the freedom and pleasure of watching and learning from what you do not have to sit besides. I am a fan of prison chronicles, biographies, nature documentaries, college sports and many other sports; channels like National Geographic Wild, History Channel and Spike are fascinating. I like to delve deeply into what I am passionate about and make the intricate connections. A piece is hardly worthwhile if the writing or the weaving is new or unique. I am not a fan of mediocrity though we are obligated to deal with characters and aspects of that, all our lives, including our very own mediocrity. Sophisticated and exaggerated gadgetry such as IPads do not have a place in my soul. I also heavily gravitate to the nonfictional aspects of life and writing, although we know that there are elements and shadows of truth in fiction; instead of ignoring either truth or tale, the challenge is to balance and to read value in what is in either. My fiction reading record is unimpressive. I am barely fascinated by the Hollywood scenery and imitation; but I am an avid fan of Springer...I love to learn about abnormal reality--from the safety home. I like venturing back into my youthfulness and pulling characters I admired as I grew up. I like to delve into the African languages/cultures that have been part and parcel of me.
Angelo ColtraneHello, I'm Angelo, and I am a Senior at Cleveland State University majoring in Public Relations. My areas of expertise include fantasy sports and general sports related news. I have been involved in fantasy sports for 7 years now and can offer advice and strategies for winning leagues in football, basketball and baseball. I am currently finishing my first year in fantasy hockey, and it's been a learning experience thus far. Look for my fantasy sports app "Fantasy Prophets" in the android marketplace and Iphone app store in Q3 of 2011. The app will feature exclusive insight and advice for winning your fantasy sports leagues. My other interests include Music and Movies. Since I see most new movie releases, I have become quite the movie critic over the years. Adam Mayfield31 year old male, currently residing in Indiana. Broad and diverse interests and keeper of odd knowledge.
Liz GaroneI was born and raised in Westchester, New York, and lived in England for a number of years when I was a child. (I got the travel bug early.) My family moved to Marin County, California, when I was a teenager (a bit of a cultural shock!). I took a year off after high school, which turned out to be one of the smartest moves I ever made. (Holding down a number of different jobs in a number of different fields made me appreciate college when I went a year later.) At UC Davis, I started off as an English major but quickly realized that Beowulf was not my style and changed to American Studies, which suited me perfectly. After graduating, I went off to Paris on a literature scholarship. Then I tried my hand as a daily newspaper reporter in Oregon, and I was hooked on publishing. From there, it was off to Japan to teach English and edit a magazine for a couple of years. It's also where I met my husband. (We were two Americans, so we didn't end up learning much Japanese, but we had an amazing time exploring Japan together.). Next, it was off to Columbia University for a Master's degree in Journalism, which was followed by a scholarship to study the sauna in its birthplace, Finland. (If it weren't for those brutal winters, I'd have moved there by now.) My soon-to-be husband was off to Phoenix for grad school, so I followed him and had my first foray in online news (still a novelty in those days) with a stint as editor of phoenixnewtimes.com. (Arizona is an odd place: tons of palm trees, lots of hot weather, but no beaches!) After that, it was back to the San Francisco Bay Area where we have been ever since. I am a regular contributor to the Wall Street Journal's Careers' section. My husband and I now have our biggest and best accomplishment yet: two lovely daughters.
Daly MirandaHow many times have you wondered why that police officer pulled you or someone you know over, or asked certain questions during a contact, or maybe made an odd request? Well, I'm here to give you the inside on how a police officer thinks. I have been a polce officer in Orange County, California for the past 12 years. I have worked a variety of assignments, including SWAT, gang detective, narcotics detective, field training officer, and I was recently promoted to a field supervisor. I still to this day experience something that I've never seen or heard before in my career. I want to give my audience the birds eye view of law enforcement, the raw and ghoury details of our job. I can tell you exactly what an officer is thinking and I can even help you out in maybe escaping a ticket, or winning in court. I want to give the inside and hopefully give my audience a better understanding of law enforcement and eliminate the rumors, stereotypes, and lies. But, I'm also going to be the first one to admit when an officer is in the wrong, there's nothing i hate more than someone who tarnishes my badge, or casts a shadow over the law enforcement community. If that happens, or shall I say when that happens, I'm gonna lay you out to everyone and expose your wrongdoing. I want to have open forums where my audience can have questions answered and also can blog about the latest law enforcement news. I have several other interests that I intend on writing about. I am very much into fitness and eating healthy. I enjoy running, lifting weights, and playing sports such as baseball, football, and golf. Although, at my age, I'm more of a spectator now, I keep abreast of the latest sports news and I am addicted to fantasy football. I hope to always entertain my audience with my current interests, any other interests I have, or develop, and I promise to always maintain open lines of communication, to keep an open mind, and to speak from an unbiased and fair standpoint. Enjoy!!
Michael BrazierOn my own at 16, I started out with not only a desire to be successful but a requirement for survival. Working odd jobs through high school I graduated and stumbled (literally) upon American Media/National Enquirer. At 19 I started as an office clerk and soon began showing talents that far exceeded delivering inter-office mail, writing bi-lines for the Weekly World News. This was my point of realization that given an opportunity, success was guaranteed.

Tiffany Dow“Mom” is the title I’m most proud of – more so even than being the President & CEO of Write Consultants, Inc. I’m a mother of 3 (2 boys and a girl) who started out ghostwriting on a myriad of topics and morphed into a leader who teaches newbies how to make money online in any niche, with all their ethics intact. A true rarity! I’m known for being blunt, yet funny. I’ve adopted the nickname “Honey Badger” because of my aggressive manner of exposing unethical scammers online. I love to discuss marketing, politics, parenting, and pop culture – basically, think of any topic that makes people want to unfriend you on Facebook, and I’m famous for it. It took me 39 years to be confident in my own opinions and now, as an avid blogger and niche leader, I’ve embraced my ability to hammer my ideas into other people’s heads. I love a good argument, but my intent isn’t to inflame, but inform. I love people who can discuss without degrading. It makes the world a better place. I have no shame in admitting that I have a love affair with my Tivo box. It records everything from my favorite Walking Dead and Sons of Anarchy shows to the hideous reality TV I’m addicted to, whenever I’m not immersed in Fox News, being the odd pro-gay marriage conservative that I am! I'm also an overweight vegetarian with a blood panel that would make anyone jealous. My triglycerides are 112 even though I’m 250 pounds – what are yours? I'm not vegetarian for ethical reasons, but because I grossed myself out when I found a chicken feather in my fast food meal. I used to bemoan the fact that I was overweight, but then I realized I’m happy eating what I want – which is a ton of fruits and vegetables, but yes, some Cokes and candy mixed in there. I think we focus WAY too much on whether our legs have cottage cheese on them and not enough on whether or not we’re being good people to one another, so I aim to change that, even if it means naming and sham
