I am currently looking to re-enter the work force after having taken time away to care for a sick parent. My mother passed away this past August and since then I have been at loose ends looking for work part-time and doing some free-lance writing here and there.. I am not really looking to make a profit from what I may contribute through my Yahoo Contributor Network articles, I read Yahoo articles and Msn articles frequently now much more so then watching my beloved CNN some of the political articles (i.e. recent Palin article concerning her speech at c-pac ) have had my neck hair standing literally on end. Just wanted to see if I qualified to have the opportunity to perhaps write an article or articles contrary to that writer's and other writer's I have recently read P.O.V.'s..

I've lived in South Central for38 of my 46 years of life. Life in Palmer has changed quite a lot since my early years here, with the expansion of our housing market, being neighbors to the infamous Wasilla, Alaska where Sarah Palin hales from, and which happens to be one of the fastest growing cities in the United States (Wasilla that is), although Palmer, a much better laid out city structure and the hub of all the best paid jobs between the two towns, has maintained a sense of dignity and small town atmosphere that Wasilla lost many years ago. Priimarily due to poor layout of their city core, it's like driving through Las Vegas, with just a major strip right through the center of it, and side streets that are confusing and poorly situated for the business's that reside off them. While Palmer is just the opposite, with a true city center, a green belt of Lilacs, Flowering Crab Apple Trees, an antique Locomotive that has been extremely well preserved with a lovely port built over the top of it in order to protect it from the elements. Palmer still maintains it's colonists roots, which date back to the early 1930's, when the Government encouraged settlement in the heart of the Matanuska-Susistna Valley by offering families from Minnesota and Wisconsin to travel here, and stake out land in homestead fashion and then work it for agricultural use. The original adult colonists are becoming rare due to old age and passing away with time, but many of them had large families, and those families ended up marrying amongst themselves. So the tradition and pride has remained intact for still a large part of the Palmer area, and though not as many as Palmer, Wasilla also has some still around. I married into a colonist family and my children although not married, but grown adults are proud of their family roots, and many of their closest friends are also children of colonists. Although I've been widowed for some years now, I still also fill that familial pride of having be

You don't know me but you will I don't seek people's good opinion. I shake things up and wait for the reaction. Staleness bores me and is the catalyst for personal decline I support Sarah Palin as a human. Hating me for it or loving it is different from judging it I am incapable of hate Every time you judge, an ignorant liberal gets his wings I am ambitious, adventurous and I know exactly what I want
  • Charlie Oliver
Charlie Oliver's years of experience on the battlefield of old media include working in advertising in New York at such entertainment goliaths as BBDO Worldwide and Condé Nast's "Allure Magazine", to working in television production on sitcoms and dramas at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers and Dreamworks. From managing script departments to working extensively with writers and producers in the development and execution of stories and scripts, Charlie considers television production to be her foundation (and bootcamp) into the world of media and entertainment. Charlie eventually made the leap from television production to independent film working as a coordinator and manager at the Sundance Film Festival for several years and then as a creative/development manager at such Oscar-winning indie film companies as Andrew Lauren Productions and Belladonna Productions where she was instrumental in seeking out new film projects for development. She segued seamlessly into new media at the helm of such web video projects a "Real Women Respond to Sarah Palin" and developing, managing and writing for blogs incorporating and experimenting with social media tools.

Entertainment is my focus now with me churning out a lot of funny material in the form of poems and poems with prosaic content fully integrated...I have recently begun to explore the viability of YouTube as well. In that forum I have done some Shakespeare Sonnets to broaden the view of my enthusiastic fans...check that out. CJ Snare, front man of Firehouse, was a classmate of mine back home in Lock Haven and I occasionally talk to him and get music updates from his successful music career: when I hear from him I get info about album releases and I send it along to you, usually via YouTube. I write about historical football (college and pro) figures. I have written about major political rallies that I attended including ones with speeches by Obama, Clinton, Palin, and Tim Keane. I have focused my efforts on putting videos on YouTube when the material is best suited for video treatment...check out my links to that on my profile page...I have more interests than is easily summarized in this rectangle...check out my broad sweep of material.
