The main thrust was to design, develop, implement strategies at field level to influence UNICEF policies at national and international levels. Using her experience at community/village, Ms Glasgow has been invited to sit on Boards of many NGOs (e.g. HEAFA '" Health and Education Alliance for Africa; the Vihara Foundation,,,) to help keep their focus and their attention to community involvement at the outset of project planning and design, to ensure that there is community ownership throughout implementation and hand-over. Ms Glasgow envisions the role technology can play, if addressed correctly, in propelling communities out of their immediate and challenging situations and empowering them to work up and out of poverty. She produces internet radio shows www.blogtalkradio.com/muriellas/corner, by featuring people who are changing narratives on issues of concern each month. THEY CALL me 'webcam guru' Hello for the past several years have made a small, meager living blogging and webmaster, working from home in san francisco. It really becomes a passion for writing and dispensing useful information to the masses of readers. (okay, masses is my wish and imagination at work.!) when it combines with a fetish. SO hope to remain a valued member of this community by sharing some of my online creations, website and webcam application reviews plus more too. YOU will get good information [read my blog here] from me but will not be solicited for cash or contact otherwise and any promoting of a link to my 'webcam socials' online or twitter etc. is strictly because you read the post and are interested in community. See links in my blog or profile for such things. Also google = "djchoppercat" or "dj choppercat" for podcasts and blogging with mp3s, Virtual DJ Pro and video remixes too. • Marty Raaymakers
I am an avid & passionate, motorcyclist, grandmother and rights advocate. As a Certified Michigan Peer Supports Specialist (MPSS) I am the writer of the MPSS Leadership Training. I have been involved with NAMI Michigan Education and Training for twelve years. I am a NAMI National Board Member and am a National Trainer in two programs; In Our Own Voice and Connection. Twenty-two years ago, when I was in my late 30s, I received a mental illness/psychiatric diagnosis or two. Or three. Some were right. Some were wrong. Some different diagnoses have been added along the way. For a while I truly thought I had a revolving door diagnosis, whatever psychiatrist who was on the other side of the door that someone shoved me in; was the flavor of the month. None of the diagnoses have ever been removed, even when it made no sense to keep all of them. It doesn't really matter what those diagnoses are since most of them didn't work out in recovery for me. Now I spend most of my time writing; ac articles, training, education courses, producing videos and podcasts. I am in the process of bringing up blogs in leadership and recovery. I am a solo motorcycle tourer who fits her writing around her travel; a Winter Texan, a Summer Michigander and a person who celebrates life.
