LOVE 2000 AD, as a poetry project, became my passion at the turn of the century. I registered AMAZON ART REPRODUCTIONS for the publication of love poetry, in conjunction with artwork and photography. Horizons are stepping stones for new horizons.

I'm a single mom of three, observing where my children, and I have been, and what we've become today; and what will be of us tomorrow, picturing it and putting it into words... I would love to become an independant poetry book writer.

I am a midwest girl who loves to read, show people they're smarter than they think, try coffees, and find the adventure and joy in every day life! Jesus Christ, who is my Savior, gives me hope, joy every morning, and the energy to love the people in my life. I am passionate about education and love to help people think more critically and creatively. I also enjoy trying out new organizational strategies and figuring out how to cut the budget in innovative ways! During my graduate studies, I studied in France and Burkina Faso, Africa, where I spoke little and learned much about living well, balancing work and life, and how to live in a community where you look out for other numbers than only #1. I have published poetry, but am always on the lookout for other outlets!

I am currently enrolled in the PhD in English at the University of Cincinnati, where I also teach freshman composition. I have a background in poetry, creative nonfiction, editing, and journalism.

I am a freelance writer/poet. My main interest and passion is poetry. For, it allow the availability of emotional content in artistic expression to be produced. Other interest of mine are in the areas of psychology, philosophy and children. Currently I have interest in creating articles pertaining to: 1) Aristotle(the Greek philosopher; this is in the works now) and his: a) life, b) contributions, c) work, and d) philosophy; and 2) ADHD (attention deficit hpyeractivity disorder) and how to approach and effectively cope with the individual(s).

I am a 79 year old Mother of Four and Grandmother of Ten. I came from the Ozark Mountains of Missouri later moving to Washington State. I have lived the simple life raising my Children alone. My education consists of High School and one year of College. I have never written poetry untill my 77th year. and since that time I have written several poems. I have never had any published until now. "This is God's World". My reason for writing poems now is because I started to have dream of singing in my sleep of beautiful words and medlodies and I would wake up with the words in my mind, but when I would try to write them down. The memories were gone. This happened often and I decited this could be God trying to tell me I had some talent. So I did find that words came to me easily. and so here I am the seventy nine year old poet. I have written poems for nine of my Grandchildren, and working on my Tenth and last Grandchild. Have written poems for my two Great Granddaughters I have several unpublished poems.
