A leading researcher and educator on polyamory and non-exclusive relationships, Jim has presented extensively to professional and lay audiences. He has been selected to present to the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors & Therapists and the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality, as well as Loving More Poly Living Conferences, and the Building Bridges Conferences of the Institute for 21st Century Relationships. Jim was selected to author the Polyamory section in the U.S. chapter of the Continuum Complete International Encyclopedia of Sexuality, and recently co-edited the booklet, What Psychology Professionals Should Know About Polyamory. He helped co-found the AASECT AltSex Special Interest Group, and currently serves as a board member of the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom.
