I am single mother of a 27 weeker. I am a full time mom before anything else. I am enrolled at the Univeristy Of Phoenix for my BA in Communications. I have written two books but they are not yet published due to funding, but they will be soon. I am an active advocate for preemies and i willl see to it that they will be acknowledged for their health risks and are not pushed aside. I am a humanitarian and i don't judge nor do i complain about anything in my life. I feel that if you have been through a traumatic time in you life you will be greatful for what you have and embrace it to the fullest extent possible.

I was born and raised in East Texas along with my older sister and two younger brothers. My father was a railroad clerk who went into politics. He served in the Texas Legislature for 14 years, and this enabled us to have many wonderful experiences as a family. My mother was a wonderful homemaker and the hardest working person I have ever known. I had a wonderful childhood that was not without hardship, and I was raised to be independent and strong-willed. I currently reside north of Dallas in the suburbs, and I miss the country living of my younger years. My husband is a software developer, and we have a wonderful four year old daughter. In my "former life" I worked on political campaigns and held jobs in the social work field and was most recently involved in marketing and accounts payable. I have not decided if I will go to back to work when my daughter starts school. I have many interests and some obsessions including (but not limited to): cooking and baking; baseball and football, both real and fantasy; parenting, especially helping other moms of preemies; frugality and saving money, on everything from groceries to clothes to vacations; politics and current events; reading, primarily fiction; documentaries; mixed martial arts (watching, not participating); playing Halo on XBOX. As a family, we enjoy hiking and camping and picnics. I am first and foremost a family oriented person. I love having friends and family at my house, especially for sporting events and holidays. I am very close with my parents and my siblings, and I am blessed beyond words.

I am a wife and mother of two beautiful baby boys named Xavier and Ronin, 18 months and 2 months, respectively. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and have been together for over 10 years. I am a pre-medical student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I aspire to one day become a successful Neonatologist (doctor who works with sick newborns and preemies in the NICU). I love to write, teach, and provide motivational speech and am currently writing a book which I hope to one day publish to remind women like myself to never give up on their dreams despite the obstacles life brings you.

I live in Florida. I am a part-time licensed nurse with 4 children. I have done a bit of everything from being a food vendor, to working at an adult strip club to working at a funeral home. I write honestly, with a bit of humor. I was in the army reserves for 8 years. My youngest son was born at 24 weeks gestation, he is doing great, btw. I struggle to balance everything. My boyfriend and I are swingers and we have a date night once a week. I run an adult content blog and I review adult products. My oldest children are becoming teenagers, and my youngest are still in diapers. Oh, and my Mom lives here with me....7 peas in a pod! I struggle to maintain my weight and I ran a marathon, once.

Michael is a native of North Carolina whose biggest challenge/joy is being the father of a special needs child. His daughter was born at 24 weeks (weighing 1 lb. 7 oz.) and was given little chance of survival. Thankfully, she was blessed with the strength to overcome the countless obstacles thrown at her. She is now 7 and in remarkably good health. Next challenge: First grade!
