Marie is a published poet and writer. She is currently pursuing her BA in Englsh and works part time as a learning assistant at a community college writing lab. She writes about social issues, fine arts, prose and creative writing. Her other passions are travel, politics and the general human condition.

I am a sinner saved by grace who loves teaching English, is thrilled to adventure around the world, likes dabbling in a bit of everything, and has too many ambitions to fit into one life. I am currently a junior at Saint Louis University studying English and Spanish. I love writing poetry and prose, and I hope to be published one day. Until then, I am hoping to continue my education earn a Ph.D in Rhetoric and Composition. Becoming a professor is my dream. I have extensive experience with writing. I was the Opinion/Editorial Editor for my college newspaper, The University News, for one year. I wrote our editorials (two each week) and edited submissions for the Opinion Section. I have also been published in my school's literary magazine (SLU Kiln). I am also in charge of my own, created debate/dialogue group on campus known as Political Round Table. Next year, I will be working at the Writing Center for SLU in an internship that will teach me methods for writing instruction. After that, I will be a paid writing and composition instructor.

A first generation Cameroonian, Born into a family of 6, Emmanuel developed a taste for writing while attending Bonnie Brae Elementary. Currently Emmanuel is in His last semester at Old Dominion University studying Communications.
