PUZZLES

I am married to Allen, and we don't work due to disability. I like to keep busy so I don't think about the pain I'm in. Keeping busy does help a bit. I have a lot of hobbies to keep me going. I like to read, watch films, and mostly they are horror. I like to knit, crochet, do puzzles on my NDS, to keep my brain working, so I tend to do a lot of brain teasers. I love being on my laptop, and I like writing. I have written one book, a romance, and I would like to write a horror. I have started it, but i'm having difficulties at the moment with it. I am determined to finish it though. I also keep in touch with family and friends via the computer. It is brilliant for that, and making new friends, and also I do all my shopping on line. Whoever invented the pc had a brilliant idea. I have a lovely Yorkshire terrier, who was a rescue dog, and had been terribly abused. We were his last hope, as other people had tried to have him in there home, but he kept biting them. He did try to bite us, but I persevered with him, and spoke gently to him. He started to come round, and doesn't even try to bite us now. He is so loving and understands that he now has a good home. I do spoil him, because I think he deserves to be after what he went through. He follows me every where now, and I know he loves me as I love him. Sorry I should have given you his name. It is Milo. He is gorgeous. He keeps me going, and I need him as much as he needs me. I have never left him on his own since we had him. If we have to go out, there is alway's one of us with him. I don't smoke or drink, I don't really go anywhere. I like to stay in, where it's nice and warm. I hate winter and the cold, I seem to hibernate, and only go out on warm days. We don't go on holidays, as we don't like to be too far from home incase things get worse. We have only been abroad once, and that was to Memphis to visit Elvis Presley's home. The flight put me off flying for good, but visiting all Elvis's haunts was amazing.

I have a bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Eastern kentucky University. I have written for the Richmond Register Newspaper in the past and am currently a freelance writer on the internet. I worked for almost ten years in the banking industry. I am currently setting up my own website, learning word press and SEO. I enjoy crocheting, puzzles, and listening to music.

Dawn has been married to the same wonderful, patient man for 34 years and counting. She is the proud mother of 2 and grandmother of 4.
