While I have yet to garner any professional writing credibility, it has been a passion of mine ever since I was in elementary school. When I was young, I wanted to be a writer of children's books and I did attend a couple of writing festivals in middle school. Now that I'm older, my interests have geared me towards work in culinary arts, music, health education, and travel. Recently, I've been keeping a blog documenting my travels as a raw food vegan on the road. I live in an old, beat-up 1988 cargo van with a bed in the back. As I've written about my experiences, shared recipes, reviewed countless restaurants, farmer's markets, and food stands, I've been told on a number of occasions that I should write a book. It was then that I considered work as a freelance writer. I came across a number of websites claiming that I could potentially make money by writing articles in my areas of expertise. I have just now begun the process of exploring that avenue of wealth and prosperity. It truly does sound enjoyable and could prove to be quite lucrative as well. If you would like to visit my blog, this particular post is written on the vegan-friendly city of Portland, Oregon: http://myworldofraw.blogspot.com/2010/09/portland-or.html Feel free to explore more of my entries. www.myworldofraw.blogspot.com Outside of blogging and traveling, I enjoy researching health articles and watching video interviews with health experts on the topics of nutrition, diet, and exercise. Since I spend so much of my spare time reading and learning about health, I figured I, too, could share my knowledge with the world by writing articles. I hope you feel the same. Thank you for your time and consideration. • Dr. Diondra, ND
Hello, I'm Chef Dr. Diondra. For the greater portion of my life I have studied alternative healing and followed a fresh food vegetarian/ vegan diet. I am certified in many alternative healing modalities including: aromatherapy, iridology, Body Talk, Attitudinal Healing, Quantum Entrainment and others. In 1998, I discovered raw living foods as a result of a major health challenge. It was the best discovery I have ever made!! Since then I have followed the living foods lifestyle with extrodinary success. My life and awareness has grown and expanded in ways I never thought possible and I am healthier and more energetic than I was at 21. I received my doctorate in Naturopathy in 2002 and have been teaching raw food classes ever since. Graduating from Living Light Culinary Arts Institute as a Chef / Instructor in 2005 has added to the gourmet aspect of my teaching and personal chef abilities. I currently lecture, teach classes and workshops, do private consultations, and offer personal chef services. I also travel and create classes for groups of 12 or more. I have been featured on both radio and television as a health expert and chef, and am a frequent contributor of online articles. In 2005, I was awarded Tops in Town Raw Food Chef in Las Vegas, NV. The best part is, everything you make and learn with me is guilt free and healthy!! Hope to meet you in class or online soon. Have a Rawsome Day!

My way of living changed dramatically three years ago. I began noticing allergies and behavioral problems in my family were food related. At the same time I became more consciously aware of the planet and wanted to live a healthy life. I was sick of my family being sick. It has been three years and we have made so many changes. Our diet is gluten-free and dairy-free which helped tremendously. In addition, we are vegans who consume as much raw food as possible. I no longer use my clothes dryer and now even make my own soap and deodarant. Everything in my life has changed as I began to change. Today my family is happy, healthy, and closer than ever before.
  • Susan Sayler
At age 24, Susan Sayler was diagnosed with terminal cancer which launched her into an intense spiritual journey through alternative and new age medicines such as hands on healing, breathwork, hypnosis and a raw food diet. Fascinated by alternative therapies, Susan continued her education through seminars and holistic programs leaving the traditional academic world behind. She became a '˜flying Sidha' in the Transcendental Meditation Movement and in 2006 meditated for 8 hours a day, 7 days a week for 6 straight months. She was introduced to the scientific underpinnings of love when conducting an interview with Rutgers University anthropology professor Dr. Helen Fisher, author of Why We Love and this finally led to the development of The Holistic Love Theory. Susan has taught many classes and seminars in metaphysics and personal development including courses at Sacramento City College, Sacramento State Experimental College, and Cosumnes River College in Sacramento. I have a range of knowledge spanning diverse subjects from raw food preparation and rustic gourmet cooking to internet marketing and web technologies and I am comfortable writing equally well about all my areas of expertise. I enjoy getting creative and each day I learn something new to help keep my mind active. I am currently teaching myself how to become a virtuoso on the violin and intend to play live in a full orchestra by the end of the year. A 'strange but true' fact about me is that I am locally famous for looking like Jack Osbourne despite bearing no resemblence to him whatsoever. This stemmed from once wearing spectacles that were similar to his at the time.
