I am a freelance writer in my spare time, father of two, and husband to a wonderful woman for the past 8 years.

I'm an aspiring biology teacher studying at Rutgers University's Graduate School of Education. In my spare time I enjoy reading science fiction, watching comedies, and listening to ska.

As a writer I am constantly trying to develop and hone my linguistic skills and writing abilities. I enjoy creative writing, typically delving into poetry and short stories, however I also enjoy writing analytical and opinion-based pieces. I have a passion for history and politics, and identify myself as being political independent. Music is a huge part of my life, as a listener and a performer, and my personal preferences include alternative rock, hip-hop/rap, indie, folk, ska, and electronic music. Most importantly, I am always looking for opportunities to display my writing skills and better myself.

I'm from Porto,Portugal and was a 2nd year student of Management at Catholic University of Portugal but i froze my licence because I'm not shure it's the right thing for me. I also have the Certificate of Proficiency in English wich is is the most advanced general English exam provided by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. I also speak Spanish, French and I'm about to start learning German. Past job experiences include being a surf instructor for two years in my hometown, serving tables, and I've also worked as a guide for foreigners in a couple of summer festivals( Alive and SuperbockSuperock ) Regarding my various interests in sports, the one's that stand out are surfing, wich I've been doing for 6 years, tenis, which i practiced for 10 years as a federated athlete and skating that i picked up only a few years ago. Music is a huge part of my life, i've played guitar for 7 years now. 2 years of classical and Spanish music lessons, 3 years of electric guitar lessons and I am currently taking an Yamaha jazz course in electric guitar. I believe almost every genre in music is capable of incorporating good music that the educated istener would consider art, and i listen to mostly jazz, nu jazz, trip hop, drum and bass,lounge dub step, rock( psychedelic,classic and grunge), blues, experimental electronic, reggae and ska. I currently have no band but besides some acoustic projects with some friends I also play a weekly performance in a jam bar. Facorite musicians are Nicolas Jaar, Stone temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, Pixies, Phaeleh, Adam F, B.B. King, Jeff Buckley, Sublime, Bob Marley, amongst a barrage of favorite artists Since a young age I've always been a really curious individual and I take great pleasure for just reading books, economic papers, magazines and even wikipedia, when i am in intent of researching general knowledge. Michael Seán Sayre is a Lakewood, Ohio-based writer, and the Founder and President of Torn Curtain Creative Media; a ministry-driven, multi-media company which anticipates a public launch in August 2012. Although his writing primarily focuses on religion and pop culture, Mr. Sayre's areas of interest are profoundly eclectic, and he often writes on myriad other topics as varied as health & wellness, music, martial arts, politics, cooking, current events, and (nearly) everything in between. I can only say so much about myself because people are always discovering new aspects of their personalities and can change by the week. Im a high school graduate preparing to go on for a four year college degree with scholarships paying most of my way. I'm open to many forms of music including ska, dubstep, and bluegrass and have been a consistent music festival goer ever since I stumbled across them. Along with that I spin poi for anyone who knows what that is. Been spinning for almost a year and a half and aim to learn as much as I can. Other than that theres not much to say. Those are the things I love and will continue to pursue them.

KINGSTON, JAMAICA AS WELL AS HAVING RECORDINGS OUT IN AUGSBURG GERMANY , FRANCE AND SPAIN. I HAVE BOOKED BANDS FROM ALL OVER THE U.S. I HAVE BOOKED OVER 300 SHOW IN RIVERSIDE,CA. My heart and soul are made of nature, exploration, art, and amazing music you've never heard of. I love punk, but it's dead, and anarchism has always been a joke. 90's Nickelodeon, however, lives. As does the spirit of ska music. You'd find me at coffeeshops, record stores, Goodwill, bowling alleys.. but most importantly.. anywhere and everywhere beautiful outside. I'm a destined traveller and individualist. For these reasons and more, I plan to own my own business. :)
