STAR GAZING

Walt Wayne grew up in New England. He has worked in various fields including sales, mass communications, entertainment, hospitality, education, construction and healthcare. He now splits his time between teaching graduate students, writing, golfing, traveling, fishing, bird watching and star gazing.

Don Guzman is a self-taught, self-proclaimed freelance photographer based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. Due to the downward spiral of the economy and need for stability, Don is employed as a Retail Manager as well. During his free time, Don can be found walking the Blvd. Strip with his camera like a tourist, attending local shows, window shopping the clearance section, enjoying happy hour at a local bar, or at a night club dancing to the demeaning lyrics of today's commercial Hip Hop. Aside from loving his girlfriend (Jade), Don loves foreign cuisine, star-gazing, travels, crocheting his dreadlocks, video games, movies & music. Don is also an avid Yelper and is part of the Las Vegas Elite Squad.

Jeffrey F. Krider was born and raised near Columbus, Ohio. He currently resides with his two sons, and beagle Sam in a small town in Central Ohio. Jeffrey enjoys playing the guitar, the paranormal, discussing life with close friends, star gazing, and anything new and interesting.

Lane was born in Reading, Pennsylvania and raised outside of Springfield, MA. He has been writing for almost 20 years and enjoys astronomy, star gazing, reading, writing and philosophy. He has four dogs whom he loves spending time with along with his two nephews and niece.

Varada is a graduate student. She likes music, books, probability theory, movies, rain, travel, hiking, yoga, star gazing, day dreaming...

I'm just a simple dude. I'm quiet and introverted, but if you get me talking you might wish you hadn't. Doesn't take much to please me, I enjoy nothing more than just laying back and enjoying some music by myself, star gazing, or being in the company of friends or family.

I have spent 30 years in retail and management. I sold my home of 29 years and left my 23 year corporate job to pursue my passion for photography and spend more time writing. I was a working mom of a 5 year old girl when I divorced my husband. I changed my career and moved from a studio manager of a portrait studio up to District manager after four years. Ten years later I was promoted to Regional Manager. I was awarded Regional of the Year in 2003. I competed with 15 other Directors from across the country. I was able to travel throughout Michigan, Indiana and Ohio with my position. Big cities have much to offer with non stop activity, shopping and dining choices. I have two grand children who live in Raleigh, North Carolina. I currently live in Mackinaw City, Michigan by the big bridge. I love this area of big pine and 5 star wilderness. This year I worked on Mackinac Island at the Bay View Bed and Breakfast. I ferried back and forth each day with my camera in tow. I share my work on Facebook and Flickr where I receive many compliments.

I write and produce music on a variety of instruments. I enjoy anything that involves being creative. I meditate daily and am vegetarian. I like to learn about philosophy, psychology and religion. I am also a practitioner of lucid dreaming and astral projection. The power of the human mind can be excercised and broadened through different meditative excersises, and my life aspiration is to do just that.

Lome Puttasath is a self taught writer. As a young girl, she spent countless hours reading Stephen King books and taught herself how to write the English language properly. Lome was born in Laos, but grew up in Hawaii and is now residing in the Sunshine state. When not caring for her daughter full time, she enjoys stargazing and scary movies.

I am a survivor of domestic violence and I put myself through college so my kids could have a better life. I love to empower other victims to escape their prison and figure out they, too, can do anything as long as they want it bad enough.
