I am an avid Starcraft fan who loves to play, watch, and commentate. I hope my articles can reach some folks in the foreign community and help bring us together to start creating a closer knit group of colleagues.

I am extremely addicted to Starcraft 2. I am a zerg player, and am currently in the upper diamond bracket, with hopes to enter masters by next season. I have a decent knowledge of all 3 races and plan on video casting my own games in the NEAR future. Stay tuned!

Originally from Oklahoma, I have now lived near Boston since the turn of the century with my husband who is also an Oklahoma native. I am a writer and editor of educational and entertainment publications (digital and print) for publishers like Pearson Education, Houghton Mifflin, etc. I am also a former middle and high school teacher of history, science, math, and special education. Hobby wise, I enjoy playing many different types of video-games on multiple platforms (most recent have been World of Warcraft, Dark Souls, Dance Central 2, and Starcraft 2); I love to cook, bake, and home-bar-tend; and enjoy being a home owner and all that involves, from decorating to home repair. I am also a cat AND dog person, I grew up with the latter but since meeting my husband have had cats; fortunately our cat is like a dog and loves to do things like take daily walks outside. :-)

Kwan-Keat Ang (pronounced "kwan-ket ang") graduated from Cupertino High School in 2011 and will be attending Harvard University in pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with hopes of advancing to medical school. Ang is very serious about his writing in the Yahoo! Born to teenage parents, I've dealt with alot of substance abuse and psychological problems in my life. Both of my parents had problems with marijuana and alcohol, my mother had serious problems with methamphetamine, resulting in mental illness, and culminating with her suicide in April of 2010. My father has done the best he can for me, and I appreciate all he does for me. However, he's a bit overzealous with his parenting, and has been an icon of fear my entire life. He plays in a metal band, he's taught me everything I know about music. I've grown up singing, and I've learned to play guitar these last four years or so.
