My name is Jordan Massie. I am from Paris, Kentucky but have been going to Morehead State University in beautiful Moreheadm Kentucky for the past four years. I am a Mathematics major with a minor in Statistics.

Born in Richmond, Virginia, I have lived in the Twin Cities area and currently live in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. My husband, three boys and two dogs fill my time and heart. As a graduate of Coastal Carolina University with two Bachelor of Science Degrees, on in Business Administration and one in Applied Mathematics, I enjoy all things statistics. My businesses include Coughlin Wedding Officiants and Numis Network where I get to work with people doing two of the best things in the world - getting married and collecting assets. In my spare time, I enjoy golf, reading, watching sporting events, traveling and hanging out with my family eating my husband's gourmet cooking.

A lifelong resident of Racine, WI, Jerry Tapp graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 1979 with a B.A. degree in Communication. He remembers his first attempt at writing as a youngster being a short story about a talking baseball. Ironically, that talking baseball story would set the stage for a lifelong love for talking about and writing about… and playing… baseball (and other sports). He spent nearly a decade as an associate editor with a national sports publication, Referee Magazine, and wrote a nationally-syndicated sports statistics column, “Stats on Tapp” for Universal Press Syndicate. As a freelance sportswriter his work has appeared in Baseball Digest, Inside Sports and the Washington Post. He was also a Scoreboard Statistician for the Milwaukee Brewers for 20 years and wrote the script for two year-end highlight videos and a drug prevention video produced by the major league team. His baseball playing days after high school included two years of junior college baseball at Indian Hills Community College in Centerville, Iowa. He then received a Division I scholarship to the University of New Mexico playing in the prestigious Western Athletic Conference. He finished his collegiate baseball career at Parkside and also enjoyed a successful semi-pro career with the Quad City Angels and the Green Bay Blue Ribbons. His career background includes work in the area of sports and recreation, non-profit management, and marketing and communications, where he held titles such as Sports Director, Development Director and Marketing Communications Specialist. His writing background is diverse: He was editor of “His Grace,” a monthly newsletter for a local church and spent several years writing a monthly column for local publication, Action Magazine, where his column focused on Christian issues. I have always been fascinated with statistics, especially ones involving sports. I fell in love with sports while watching it on TV with my Dad and brothers. I was fortunate to grow up near Chicago where I could watch Michael Jordan and the Bulls play, and of course we always watched Monday night football no matter who was playing. Other than that, probably the biggest single contributor to my interest in sports was the sports page of the Chicago Tribune... Back then the newspaper was the only way I could get the latest sports stats, schedule, standings, and headlines. There was no internet and we didn't have cable TV (so no ESPN). It was great, every morning I would jump out of bed, run to the front porch, and grab the paper. I was homeschooled my whole life and got my GED after turning 18. I then went on to college where I majored in Athletic Training. I went to college for Athletic Training, and graduated in 2008. I ended up changing career plans after 1 year of working as an athletic training and now joining the Air Force in hope of becoming a tech geek.
