Aaron SikesI am a writer of Steampunk and Dieselpunk fantasy tales. I've been a soldier, an apprentice pastry chef, a teacher, and a desk jockey. Those hats fit for a time, but these days I explore my imaginary worlds at home, help raise a family, and occasionally bake a batch of cookies when the mood strikes. There may also be naps taken with cats from time to time. You'd have to ask them though. I've recently taken on the mantle of Interim Managing Editor for Doctor Fantastique's Show of Wonders, a print and online publication devoted to all things Steampunk.
Christopher SloanWriter, Storyteller, Game Master and more, Christopher Sloan spends most of his time creating in one form or another. He focuses his time and talent towards the Steampunk Genre, Role Playing Games, various other small projects.
V. Edwards ClarkeV. Edwards Clarke is interested in all things scientific, though Clarke is but an amateur investigator. Clarke enjoys writing about what if topics as well as what ever happened to? features. Clarke has recently become fascinated with the steampunk culture, so fiction shorts and alt-histories are likely to have a steampunk feel.
Andrine EganCuriosity about the world around me started in my childhood and flourishes with the internet. The arts, cooking, fashion, travel, exploring music from steampunk, jazz, romanian swing, and classical they are all available at my fingertips. Politics and social movements are also central to my core. The world is shrinking and I am happy to be part of the global family.
CJ HarrisI'm an avid reader of all types of fantasy. Urban fantasy, steampunk, paranormal romance, epic fantasy, time travel; if something magical, supernatural or dead/undead is part of the plot, I'm all over it. However, by day I work a vanilla 9-5 (more like 9-7) job where I tend to wear dark blue or gray suits. But in my mind I'm decked out in a body hugging, leather body suit with matching boots. And there's a sword slung over my back. Yes, I've clearly read too many female slayer books but there it is. I've been writing online for over 5 years and have won several creative writing contests. You can probably guess the focus of most of my work. Like many others I have that perfect bestseller in my head and will one day mind meld with my computer and record my masterpiece in MS Word. And you'll all say "Yes, we knew her when."
J A GonzalesJeff Gonzales is a writer, juggler, and musician with a passion for the arts. He has done community theatre and currently owns a small family business crafting bags and things for ren faires and steampunk conventions. He currently resides in northern California with his wife, daughter, and two cats.
Beverly MoravcikI am an educator and former attorney with a variety of interests. I work from my home while taking care of my father, who has Parkinson's disease. We have 2 cats, a Wii and antenna TV. If they ever enact and use an "Internet kill switch" it will devastate me. I like science fiction, urban fantasy and steampunk. I am interested in how the media and laws change as new technology develops. I am the kind of person who feels compelled to push buttons marked "Do not touch" and I have been distracted by shiny objects. I think that life is, in fact, like a box of chocolates, but I suspect that someone may have licked all the good pieces before I saw the box.
Trey GarrisonTrey Garrison's secret identity is working as a mild-mannered journalist, editor, humorist, opinionist, consultant, entrepreneur, and part-time sybarite. Maybe the best word to describe him is racontrepreneur. Better yet, "Writer of Wrongs" Future award-winning author of the soon-to-be published (cross your fingers) The Merchant Princes: A Far Ranger Adventure, an alternative history/steampunk/zombie/Nazi mashup adventure. Trey's work has appeared in a number of publications, often with his consent and sometimes with his knowledge. He's a contributor for D Magazine '" considered among the best city magazines in the United States '" and for Reason magazine.Trey is a special contributor for The Dallas Morning News and a field reporter for The Land Report. He's also a regular for a host of other pubs that pay the bills while he dreams of cover bylines in Vanity Fair and The Atlantic. (He's written a couple of business books, and for the Dallas Business Journal and a slew of other publications '" all of which he'd just as soon forget, really.) As a writer, he's a better chef. And as a chef, he's a better shooter. On the whole, he'd rather be on the beach in Jamaica. Wouldn't you?
Alison DiemAlison Diem is a writer of intricate stories involving history, the paranormal, adventure, magic, mystery, murder, fantasy, steampunk, creatures that may (or may not) be real and any combination thereof. Also, dragons. She is an avid history buff and is well versed in the world of banking. She admires the work of many and has learned much from every book she's ever read, even the really, really bad ones. Especially the really, really bad ones. She does not like Twilight. At all. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Bear, and her kitty Harvey.
E. H. FlemingE.H. Fleming holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin Pierce College in Anthropology and continues to work in the field of Archaeology, while his writing and research interests run the gambit of ethnomusicology, philosophy, history, medieval living and playing of the banjo. Yes, that's right: The Five String Banjo. Fleming is a native Rhode Islander who also enjoys performing bluegrass music, living history, steampunk culture and most importantly: writing for your enjoyment.
Sarah Kate ColemanSarah Kate Coleman is Christian, a wife, a semi-vegetarian, a Health Enthusiast, a nerd, a great lover of books and creativity, and has a fascination with alternative medicine and natural healing. Don't be surprised if she hands you some herbal tea while telling you about her favorite steampunk/fantasy/anime/manga/sci-fi movies and/or shows.
Broadie ThorntonI was born (nearly 30 years ago) in a small southern town called Goldsboro, which rests in the southeastern bit of North Carolina, between an expansive coast and an impressive mountain range. I began reading at the age of three. I haven't stopped since. What can I say? I fell in love with the written word very early on in life. I've never been able to get enough of The Word Nation. My first love, and likely, my last love. Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Steampunk, Mythology, and Crime Noir are my main areas of interest. I've always had a huge interest in the paranormal aspects of human existance, which contributes rather a lot to my literary preferences. I am what you might call a free thinker. I won't fall for anything, but I will consider the ins and outs of anything. How else is one supposed to gain a full appreciation for life, here on the strange world of water and carbon based life that we refer to as Earth?

Paul AndersonI am a writer and co-founder of an independent, smallpress digital publishing company.
Jack CrowderFor someone who once sold a client's entire music catalogue to the MTV corporation right from graduation, I have done the worst job in promoting myself throughout the years. I remain fighting against the artist's/writer's worst enemy: obscurity. I have only gotten little blips on the radar throughout the years and none of them usually in my name but my work. I was the underpinning of a D-List celebrity, I was featured twice on the HBO twitter for two of my pieces but I remain in the unknown abyss. These articles will reflect my crawling out of that abyss. Thank you for your time.

Alfredo GuerraA husband and daddy, living in Houston that is truly grateful for being blessed with a beautiful life.
Jessica SchiszlerJessica Schiszler is a mad telephone banker by day, and college student by night, but her first love has been, and will always be, the written word. She lives with her gunslinger soul mate and baby daughter in rural Tennessee.

Kenzy EnglandI'm a full-time freelance writer, A&E Featured Contributor, and recipient of the Yahoo! Contributor Network's 2010 Top 1000 award. I enjoy writing about my favorite celebrities, music, and television shows. In addition to Y!CN, I've been published to Y! News and Y! omg!. and have contributed content about the British Royal Family and the British Royal Wedding. My favorite TV series are: 'The Borgias,' 'Camelot,' 'Justified,' 'The Tudors,' 'Sons of Anarchy,' 'Pretty Little Liars,' 'Shameless,' 'Chuck,' 'NCIS,' 'CSI:, 'Ghost Adventures,' 'Ghost Hunters,' and 'Ghost Hunters International.' I enjoy traveling, particularly in my home state of Texas and other southern states such as Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia. I love food and enjoy watching the Cooking Channel and Food Network. My favorite celebrity chefs are Giada De Laurentis, Paula Deen, Bobby Flay, and Nigella Lawson.
AJ HollandAJ Holland thoroughly dislikes writing her autobiography. While she does not customarily refer to herself in the third person, autobiographies that say "I am an amateur actress, writer, and photographer" just seem tacky. True, but tacky.
Rick YoungI'm a homebrewer, runner, writer, musician, scuba diver, lifelong learner, and jack of all trades living in the Green Mountains of Vermont.
