My name is Sabrina, and im everything but boring! Sunshine is my favorite, rainy days just bring me down. I ve grown up in the wonderful California, where the beach is where I live during the Summer. I absolutely love writing, and I hope to share my ideas for everyone to enjoy and learn from!

How does someone go from being a scared quiet child in the broken and perverse foster care system, to becoming a strong woman with a voice for those children who are overlooked, voiceless? Taking her passion and actually doing something, Sunshine is the mother to 9 children, 5 adopted from Indiana foster care. Ages 16 to 10, she could be called many things, crazy maybe most often, but Mom is the one she adores the most. Just a mom but capable of changing her small area of the world, and so can you...open your heart and your eyes.

I like when someone asked Jiddu Krishnamurti "Who are you?" to which he replied "Who am I is not important because I am nobody. The more important question is - who are you?" Sunshine has been a yoga teacher since 2005 and started practising since 1999. She is a Yoga Alliance Certified instructor as well as a Power Pilates New York certified instructor. More importantly, she considers herself a constant student of Buddhism in the Tibetan Gelugpa tradition under the tutelage of Lama Lobsang Chunzom, descending from a long line of learned Gelugpas including Je Geshe Michael Roach, Je Khen Rinpoche Geshe Lobsang Tharchin and His Holiness Trijian Rinpoche. She has had the good fortune to received group initiations from His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Professionally, she worked for hotels and spas in the Caribbean, Africa and Central America including Rosewood Little Dix Bay in sunny Virgin Gorda. Currently, Sunshine and husband Glen direct a spa and wellness consulting company in Central America and runs meditation, yoga and vacation retreats from their home in Nicaragua.
