Tammy DishnerMs. Dishner grew up in a unique family situation because her mother was diagnosed with schizophrenia, paranoia disorder, which made for a rocky childhood. In spite of her family hardships, Ms. Dishner graduated from James Madison University with three degrees: a B.S. in psychology with a special education minor, an M.Ed. in special education and an M.Ed. in educational administration. She taught various groups of students in special education programs for seven years and then served as an educational administrator at both the elementary and secondary levels. Ms. Dishner is a survivor of stage 3B aggressive breast cancer which occurred in 2002. She has had no recurrences of the cancer in the past eight years. However, she suffers from lymphedema, shortness of breath, short-term memory processing issues, anxiety and clinical depression. In addition, Ms. Dishner suffers from post-traumatic stress syndrome due to workplace bullying and harassment due to her sexual orientation. Currently, Ms. Dishner is self-employed as an abstract artist. She has studied art for two and a half years and her work, "One Love" was highlighted in the March issue of GALA magazine. Ms. Dishner is an avid gardener and she also enjoys music and technology. Ms. Dishner is a relentless advocate for LGBT rights and patient's rights. She also believes in the vast untapped energy within ourselves and our limitless universes.
Denise MarieMost of my life has been a learning experience for seizures, mental issues caused by seizures and all different types of seizures, epilepsy and syndromes due to my son having a rare syndrome. I have fought the government and agencies for many years trying to get him the services that he needed, but alas, last year it finally came too late when my husband of 18 years walked out on us, left us with nothing and had us evicted from our home. I am a fighter and I will get back on my feet and I just thank God that the services finally came through for my son right when they did.

Joseph LeeI am 29 years old, and I was born in Louisville, Kentucky ,however I was raised in Tampa Bay,FL where I continue to reside now. I am married and have 3 children 8,2 and 3. Besides trying to keep up with my toddlers around the house, I like to stay involved in my community however possible. I was in the U.S Navy for 3 years, however I was injured and now am medically retired. I went back to school and received my degree in December of 2009. I am now pursuing a Journalism degree at the University of South Florida. My youngest child Andy has Down Syndrome a subject I had no clue about until his birth; Since then I have studied and researched Down's and even work as a volunteer with his school with special needs children.
