Tango has many interests such as arts and sciences, business and computing.

I am a graduate student living in Dallas, TX pursuing a Masters degree in Biotechnology at UT Dallas. I discovered a love for dance in my 1st year of graduate studies and recently I have developed an all consuming interest in Tango. I like to learn scripts of different languages and I am currently trying to learn to read and write arabic.

A life coach, writer, tango dancer and passionate devotee of wide open spaces. I work with women and teenage girls, helping move towards a deeper appreciation and understanding of their needs, wants and desires, for all they are and have to offer. As a coach, I facilitate a process of positive change that leads to greater happiness, less stress and a sense of being in control of your own life. As a writer, I share my own experiences and learnings as mindfully, honestly and creatively as I can. Over the past decade Jorday Rivera's Dance Studio has been the Epitomey Salsa/Latin and Belly Dance Studio in Queens and New York area. having two locations in Forest Hills and Astoria. Attracting people of all ages and preparing them to perform in our state of the art venue where we hold our annual Dance Recital Extravaganza. Compelling people from all over Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, New York City and the Long Island areas. Our Studio offers an array of dance classes. Classes range from Salsa/Mambo ON 2, Merengue, Bachata, Cha Cha, Belly dance, Ballroom, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Modern, Lyrical, Tango, Brazilian Samba, Break Dance, Burlesque, Zumba, Dance Fitness and Pole Dancing .Both Dance Studios consist of lush waiting areas with viewing windows, 3 to 4 fully equipped ballrooms, spacious changing areas with storage shelves, Dance Boutiques, an office for private consultation for Weddings, Sweet Sixteen and all special events. Our dedication to teaching dance is evident by both the joy and skill seen in our students. Many students have gone on to compete and perform in some of the countries most prestigious events. One of the founding beliefs of our program is that dance teaches important social values. Our students learn not only how to be graceful, coordinated and poised, but how to be self disciplined, self-confident and cooperative as well. Along with attaining more refined manners and better posture our students also leave the studio with an education in different cultures.Students gain insight into other cultures through their study of dances. This cultural education is further supplemented by our own multicultural staff and student body. For all these reasons (and many more) we believe involvement in partner dance is one of the greatest ways to boost a persons self-esteem.

Sometimes I think I am too many things and other times, not enough. I’m a writer, a motorcyclist, a dance aficionado (Salsa, Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing), a traveler, a guy with bipolar syndrome (oh, that explains a lot!). I like to think it all makes me a modern renaissance man! If I lived in a different era I would be an adventurer who was really good with a sword … or a light saber, of course. I could be a really good Sinbad or Han Solo or the captain from Firefly or maybe even Boba Fett. My goal in life is to let go while living and die without dying. I don’t ask for much.

Rachel Eddey grew up on Long Island, New York with middle child syndrome, which she confirmed when her siblings received fabulous Bar / Bat Mitzvah parties and she became a woman in a backyard tent. She weathered through the storm, receiving a BA in Creative Writing from Binghamton University and a Master of Fine Arts in Nonfiction Writing from The New School. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Newsday, the Chicago Tribune, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the St. Petersburg Times, and a number of national and online magazines including Tango, Grit, and Plenty. Rachel doesn't have a license and can't pee in bushes, making her a terrible cross-country companion.

I was born onto a Commodore 64 and have been a child of technology ever since. Recently I've concluded mt 32 month tenure as the director of operations for our local real estate investor association (MnREIA) receiving an incredibly hands on crash course in investing in real estate. In total I've accumulated over a decade of web designs and development experience with a flavorful infusion art and culture via time spent abroad in Buenos Aires. With a passion as fierce as tango I've made the leap to self employment and commercial web development. My heart belongs to business, real estate, and internet development with a single end goal in mind... To one day own an inventory of cash flowing properties that will fund an early retirement in Buenos Aires where I can develop the most comprehensive Argentina travel guide website as a non profit venture. Currently I'm developing commercial grade content management systems for small businesses. At this moment I'm working on developing a commercial venture to create a system for apartment buildings to manage and communicate with tenants. Never a boring day!
