David has a range of therapeutic successes beyond diabetes as evidenced via his roles as Global Project Leader for the world’s first VEGF inhibitor, MACUGEN®, an injectable treatment for macular degeneration, as well as a second generation rabies vaccine project for which he completed an executive leadership expatriation program in France for Sanofi-Pasteur. David served as Global Project Manager for the development of MENACTRA®, an important vaccine for meningitis. David’s other project contributions include COMBIVENT UDV and ATROVENT HFA (for asthma and COPD) as well as extensive inhalation device success. Beyond his leadership talents David is a recognized subject matter expert in the field of project and portfolio management.
