Val Tobin has worked in the tech industry for ten years as a software/web developer while exploring her interests in the occult, paranormal and spirituality fields on the side. In 2004, she wrote for the online publication Community MX. Val started writing for Suite 101 in May 2010. Val started Serenity Now Gifts & Services as a part-time home based business with her husband in 2005.
