I am a self declared nature enthusiast who has the deepest appreciation of nature’s beauty in its most unspoiled state. I believe that true beauty should not come with high price tag. Most often in my trips, you’d see me wandering through jagged rocks, riding through waves, climbing lighthouses, trekking mountains, climbing trees… Nature has been and always be my best comfort.

  • Gordon Lewis
I am an 18-year-old Connecticut native with a devout passion for writing. I currently attend SUNY Purchase, in Purchase New York where I major in Creative Writing and Literature. I dedicate several hours of every day to writing. I was an avid contributor to my former High School's Newspaper, specifically the Editorial and Arts & Reviews sections. In addition to writing, I am thoroughly obsessed with cinema. I am the proud owner of an ever-expanding film collection ranging from classics such as A Streetcar Named Desire to the more recent American Beauty. When watching film I often intricately analyze every aspect of the movie from the idiosyncratic ticks of the actor, the word choice featured in the script, to the use of lighting. I have the tendency to blend my passions and write about film in great depth. Though it remains undetermined, my goal in life revolves around several aspirations each of which contains strong links to writing. I’m currently collaboratively writing a handful of novel manuscripts. I intend to achieve my Doctorate in English and eventually teach at a University. I love writing and recording music, road trips and my dog Sasha. I elected to form an account as a Yahoo contributor, because I have an unquenchable thirst for writing of all genres and I am eager to broadcast to a larger demographic.
  • Lee Ann Clayton
A stay-at-home mother of three, Lee Ann loves to read short stories, quick articles, political news, and opinion columns. She also helps her husband lead a youth group in their church. She loves to travel and finally went to Brazil, while pregnant. She and her husband do several local mission trips a year to help those in need. Her favorites include the women's shelter and helping small churches put together Bible schools. Before marriage and family life, she worked in a daycare, then moved to the medical field in admissions for a hospital and then two doctor offices. There she became familiar with insurance companies. She has developed a new passion for home interior and will eventually learn how to sew. Growing up in Texas, the only girl out of four, she always wanted to teach or become a journalist. Life had other plans.

Machu Picchu Trips Day 1: Cusco '" Piscacucho (Km. 82) - Wayllabamba Our tour begins very early in the morning, where our bus will pick you up at your hotel and drop us off at the start of the hike, Piscacucho (km.82). We will arrive at 10:00 am so we can meet all of the people who will be accompanying us on this journey. We will start the hike at an altitude of 2550 meters above sea level where we have a very important checkpoint that requires us to show our original passports as it is one of the Historic Sanctuary of Machupicchu's regulations. We expect to walk on our first day approximately 6 hours (12 kilometers). Along the way we will view two archaeological sites (Canabamba and Llaqtata). Afterwards we will reach our first campsite, Wayllabamba where we will spend the night and recover our energy for the next day.
  • Veronica Barrington
Veronica is a divorced mother of three. She has been a licensed real estate agent in three states, but learned that owning and managing properties is the niche in real estate she prefers. In business, she owns several rental properties and has started, managed and sold various businesses. After her three children were born, she invested in more real estate in order to have the time to stay home with them. Travel with the kids gave her many opportunities to share what works and what does not. She ventured into working from home online as a virtual concierge for the company VIPdesk, where she increased her knowledge of the travel industry, and many exciting trips with the children were the result. Forty brought changes, including the beginning of her new writing career. Covering city council and school board meetings on a free lance basis brought her first by-line, and she's been hooked ever since. She has worked as staff reporter for a weekly paper and columnist writing about the transition from urban to rural life for . She is currently a non-traditional student, and learning the ropes of single parenthood. Her outlook on life is positive. Rather than looking at life as half over, she sees it as "finally beginning" with plenty of opportunity ahead.
