Bryan ClarkeI am a 5th generation Floridian born and raised in Tampa, FL. Growing up on Tampa Bay nurtured a devout love of all things natural and outdoors, most notably backpacking, kayaking, and fishing. I studied Wildlife Ecology and Conservation at the University of Florida in addition to meeting my incredible wife. We were married in 2006 when I went on to study veterinary medicine, also at UF. My wife and I now live in Jacksonville, FL and enjoy all the excitement of renovating our first home (a brick bungalow circa 1926) and preparing for the arrival of our son.
Justin DeCaroI'm a 30 year old Utah Native. I graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Wildlife Science. I'm married to a great woman, and we have a 2 year old son. I enjoy the outdoors, photography, golf, and spending time with my family.
Flidais Vaughn McEwanI graduated high school with a 4.5/4.0 GPA due to excelling in honors and AP classes. I took a year off and then went to college for two years for my Associates in Science degree. I was three credits shy from receiving my degree before life intervened and I had to refrain from registering for the consecutive semester, due in the most part to education expenses on top of my everyday living expenses and necessary bills. I have merely been working to save up so that I can continue my schooling and receive my Bachelor's in Wildlife Biology. To name a few occupational places, I've worked for an animal shelter, a canine day-care (which closed down due to economical hardship), and was finally employed by the United States Postal Service as a Casual employee. I am currently arduously pursuing permanent USPS employment so that I can finally go back to school for my wildlife degree. In the meantime, I have been writing and editing my novels and hopelessly seeking publication. Wildlife and writing would have to rate as my two deepest passions. I was raised around a plethora of different animal specimans. Chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys, goats, sheep, ostriches, snakes, iguanas, turantulas, mice, ferrets, cats and dogs, etc. One of my greatest hobbies was to breed turkeys and sell the young, or incubate abandoned eggs and raise the young myself. The wild world has always fascinated me, and I have always found myself more comfortable around my animals or amidst the trees of a secluded forest than around strangers or amidst a legion of homo sapiens.
Jason WestleyI am a South African born Brit, who has been living in the Luton and London area for most his life. I have a keen interest in wildlife, particularly African, and have trained as a field guide in the lowveld, achieving FGASA Level 1 Field Guide and Trails Guide qualifications. I love to travel, and have blogged my experiences in Costa Rica, the USA and South Africa during 2010 at www.outoftheway.co.uk. After wildlife and travel, my other love is puzzles. With a strongly analytical mind, I'm a keen crossword puzzler and follow puzzle hunts such as the yearly MIT, MUMS and Logica hunts. I'm a reasonable amateur cryptographer who had a bit of success working on the "Can You Crack the Enigma Code" puzzle. I own two red-eyed tree frogs and I'm looking forward to expanding their environment and providing them with a few companions - once I've got the cash.
