Full House Resorts (FLL) today announced that the FireKeepers Development Authority will construct a 240-room resort-style hotel on the FireKeepers Casino site.The project, which is in its final design stage, is expected to break ground in spring of 2011. It is anticipated to open in late summer of 2012. According to the resort company, the hotel will feature 240 luxury rooms, a number of suites, a pool and fitness area, a full-service restaurant, gift shop and a larger dedicated bingo facility, as well as other amenities. Additionally, the planned expansion will contain a 2,000-seat special events facility. The hotel will be built on the 78 acres of tribal land currently held in trust by the federal government, and earmarked for continuing economic development. Full House Resorts shares are up 1.26% to $4.02.

Strategic Hotels & Resorts (BEE) says fourth quarter comparable funds from operations was a loss of one cent and less a $5.7 million charge related to the Company's long-term incentive compensation (Value Creation Plan or VCP). Comparable FFO was $0.03 per diluted share. The Thomson Reuters mean, usually less items, was a profit of 2 cents.Sales were $184.5 million, below forecasts that was just over $192 million. It sees FY11 FFO between a loss of 2 cents- earnings of 7 cents, below forecasts for $0.11.

Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ:WYNN) reported Q4 EPS of 91 cents, topping consensus estimates of 65 cents. Revenue totaled $1.24 billion, topping the Street target of $1.13 billion. Wynn reported RevPar of $192 and Macau RevPar of $280.Wynn attributed the revenue rise to a 79.4% increase in revenues at Wynn Macau and an 8.0% revenue increase from its Las Vegas operations.Adjusted property EBITDA in Q4 totaled $365.2 million.Shares of WYNN are trading 2% lower in after hours.

MGM Resorts (NYSE:MGM) reported a Q4 loss of $0.29 per share, wider than consensus estimates for a loss of $0.22 per share. Revenues for the quarter rose 1.4% year-over-year to $1.5 billion, in line with consensus estimates.Jim Murren, MGM Resorts International Chairman and CEO said, "2010 has been a transformational year for MGM Resorts International from a balance sheet and liquidity perspective. We have built the foundation needed to benefit from an economic recovery and are highly focused on initiatives such as M life, our new customer loyalty program, to improve our business, We are encouraged in early 2011 by the level of business activity we are seeing. Our forward booking pace is currently ahead of last year led by a stronger convention mix which we believe will position our Company to have a better year than last."

MEGM Resorts International (MGM) posted a narrower loss for the fourth quarter today. The casino operators loss narrowed to $139.2 million, or $0.29 per share, from a loss of $433.9 million, or $0.98 per share, in the same quarter last year.

Shares of Wynn Resorts, Ltd. (NASDAQ:WYNN) traded 6% higher earlier Thursday, following a ratings upgrade by JP Morgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM), reports MarketWatch. JP Morgan analyst Joe Greff lifted the stock's rating to Overweight. Shares of the firm continue to trade up 5.49% Thursday afternoon at $106.27. Wynn Resorts owns and operates luxury hotels and destination casino resorts in Las Vegas, Nevada and in Macau, China. The resorts features guest rooms and suites, restaurants, golf courses, and on-site luxury automotive dealerships. Wynn Resorts had sales growth of 0.3% during the last fiscal year. The company has reported $3.8 billion in sales over the past 12 months and is expected to report $4.3 billion in sales in the next fiscal year.

MGM Resorts and Chevron both issued guidance late yesterday on their third quarter earnings. MGM Resorts (MGM) said it now expects a loss of $0.72 per share in the third quarter, compared to a loss of $1.70 per share in the same quarter last year.
