Universal Health Services (NYSE:UHS) is expected by analysts to report earnings of $0.61 per share on sales of $1.5 billion in 3 days. Analysts also expect earnings of $2.57 per share for the current full-year period. Universal Health Services reported earnings of $0.57 per share a year ago, on sales of $1.3 billion. Last quarter, the company matched analysts' estimates by posting earnings of $0.55.

Yum! Brands (YUM) is fractionally lower out of the gate after the company reported net income of $0.63 per share for the quarter, beating the Thomson Reuters consensus estimate of $0.60. Sales grew 6% to $3.56 billion, also topping the Street. The stock edged up 3 cents out of the gate to open at $49.26 and has traded in a tight range around the even mark in step with the broader indexes.

(NYSE:HSY) reported a Q3 net income hike from $162 million, or $0.71 per share in the year-ago period, to $180.2 million, or $0.78 per share during Q3.The company earned $0.79 per share, ahead of FactSet Research analysts, who were looking for EPS of $0.77.Net sales jumped from $1.48 billion to $1.55 billion year-over-year.The company boosted its profit outlook to range from $2.52 per share to $2.56 per share, up from its previous guidance of $2.47 per share to $2.52 per share; Street estimates were looking for $2.53 per share."
