"In a move that puts her at odds with her husband's official stance, Cindy McCain is calling for a repeal of the military's ""Don't Ask, Don't Tell"" policy.Mrs. McCain appeared in a new anti-bullying video sponsored by the California-based organization NOH8. Her cameos run for less than 15 seconds in the two and a half minute clip. She says in the video that policies embolden bullies, ""Our political and religious leaders tell LGBT youth that they have no future. They can't serve our country openly Our government treats the LGBT community like second class citizens - so why shouldn't they?""This is the first public criticism by Mrs. McCain of the military's ban on allowing openly gay people from joining the army. In doing so, she breaks from her husband, Senator John McCain, who led the block of a repeal in a Senate vote in September."
