Submitting, Republishing Content: The Best Promotional Method You'll Find

Darlene 'Dee' Bishop
Having built more than one successful online business, I have to say that my most effective marketing strategy - hands down - is writing articles and submitting them for free reprint in ezines and on Web sites. This has drawn more traffic to my site, given me more business and helped build a solid online reputation quicker than anything I've done. And I've tried just about everything!

I believe in submitting anywhere and everywhere possible! (Within the topic range of the article, of course, so it will depend on what type article you write as to where you offer your article for publication. With that said, I specifically like IdeaMarketers.com and EzineArticles.com. I've used these sites for years for myself and my clients and had very good results with them. But there are tons of others!

Search Google for "submit your article" or "submit your ezine article" - or add the topic of your article, like parenting or business, you'll come up with a LOT of places to submit. You can also search for ezines in the topic area of your article and email the publisher and ask if they accept article submissions. Sometimes you have better results doing that. I've had good results both ways.

Another option is to search Yahoo for groups relating to "article submission" or "free content" and subscribe to those lists. I'd suggest digest mode - they're usually very active! You can then submit your articles there and publishers will find them.

Article submission takes some time but it certainly works well to build your online business and ezine subscriber base.

Good to know. I'd wondered about these sites.
