Subway Italian BMT Sub is a Superb Sandwich

Consumer Product Review

Thomas J McCabe
Subway sandwich shops are everywhere nowadays. These restaurants have become very popular with hungry consumers across America, as well as in many foreign countries. One of the tasty subs that is regularly offered at Subway sandwich shops is their Italian BMT sub. Whether it is eaten hot or cold, the Italian BMT sub at Subway is always a satisfying sandwich. Made with sliced Genoa salami, ham and pepperoni, this submarine sandwich offers a delicious, refreshing flavor that is accented by the consumer's choice of fresh vegetables and condiments. I am such a fan of the Subway Italian BMT sub that I decided to write a review of the item. Presented here, in an effort to assist the consumer, is one food writer's consumer product review of the Italian BMT sub available at Subway sandwich shops.

Size
The size of both the six - inch and the footlong Italian BMT sub from Subway are quite substantial. Like all Subway subs, there is a pre - determined, or measured adequate amount of meat and cheese appropriated for each sub. Because of the myriad fresh vegetable and condiment choices that are available with all subs at Subway sandwich shops, the Italian BMT sub can actually become quite substantially - sized. Personally, I find that the six - inch sub is enough to usually satisfy my appetite and the footlong Italian BMT sub usually provides enough food for me to make two small meals out of it.

Texture
The texture of the Subway Italian BMT sub is pleasant and agreeable. No matter which type of tasty bread you choose, all of their breads offer a soft, yet chewy texture. The sliced meats in this sub are impeccably - fresh, as are the many different types of vegetables and condiments. When all of the ingredients in this sub are combined, they produce a delicious sandwich that offers a very pleasant mouth - feel.

Taste / Flavor
The Italian BMT sub available at Subway sandwich shops features an excitng and delectable melange of flavors courtesy of the three different meats that are packed into this sub. The ham in this submarine sandwich is mellow and pleasant - tasting, the Genoa salami is spiced just right and the pepperoni adds a zesty and dynamic bite to the overall flavor of the sandwich.

Usually, when I purchase a Subway Italian BMT sub, I load - up on an array of the complimentary vegetables and condiments that are always available. Among the items that I usually add to my Subway Italian BMT are lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, black olives, cucumbers and green peppers. My choice of cheese for this delicious sub is almost always American, which I think complements the other ingredients excellently. I also usually get the Subway Italian BMT sub cold, although when I purchase a footlong sub, I sometimes heat half of the sub, wapped in aluminum foil, in my conventional oven. When heated, this submarine sandwich is also quite delectable.

Price
The price normally charged for one six - inch Italian BMT sub at Hartford, Connecticut area Subway sandwich shops is $4.24. The price normally charged for one footlong Italian BMT sub at Hartford, Connecticut area Subway sandwich shops is $6.36. I think that the prices are reasonable, especially given the consistent high - quality, great taste and freshness that is present in this, and all Subway subs.
