Subway Offers $5 Concert Tickets for Nickelback and the Fray Concerts

You are cruising down the road jamming to "If Today Was Your Last Day", thinking "Man, I would love to see those guys in concert"! Your best bud next to you agrees as you past grease pit McDonalds. It's about noon and your tummy does some talking, too. Coming up to Taco Bell, slapping your best bud upside the head with a steak quesadilla sounds like fun, but instead of being so brutal, you decide to eat fresh!

Subway seems to be the way today. Thinking you're Micheal Phelps you decide to swim up all over the road, passing every car, with a swoosh, until you see that yellow and green sign glowing in the sunset. You're not that far away, definitely not as "Far Away", as that song makes you out to be,. You can hear that Subway Club calling your name loud and clear.

Cranking the jams up, you dive into the parking lot, checking the brakes at the door. You two decide that you want to race to the door, trying not to trip over your own feet, which could be a challenge. This sign seems to stare at you, like a dream turning reality.

"No way, weren't we just talking about Nickelback in concert"!!, you blurt out.

"Check out this sign". "Heck, imma get 17 or maybe 50 of them bad boys", you continue, as you think of all your friends you want to bring to the concert. "Shoot, we better jump on this, man".

You're excited as you rush in and waiting patiently for the nice elderly couple just isn't happening. That is until your friend nudges you. "Man, chill", he says. "Those tickets will still be there".

"But wow, The Fray and Nickelback, for just $5", you reply. You are so excited, you can't contain yourself. You don't even care about what they put on your sandwiches, as you tell the Subway beauty queen, you want 20 sandwiches, on whatever bread is available. She just smiles as she turns to the bread. The excitement is too much and she is smart, guessing that you are excited about the concert tickets. She starts laughing and you are falling in love.

"You're hilarious", she giggles. "I have never seen a grown man act like such a kid at a candy store". (Secretly it is such a turn on for her). You blush and comeback with "you are the candy baby and I want to take you to the concert with me". It's a date!

She slaps on the turkey, ham and roast beef. Smiling, she asks you what kind of cheese you would like. She already knows as she reaches for the cheese and piles up all 20 sandwiches with meats and cheese. That's a wrap as you hand her the money. What an exciting day, you thought, with the Nickelback concert still fresh in your head. You walk out the door, never realizing that you just invited a lady on a date without giving her your number.

Practically swimming down the road, it hits you. Slamming on your brakes, you turn to head back and exchange numbers. Yah, that would be a good thing. Your lady friend laughs as you rush through the door like a mad man on Mountain Dew Game Fuel, or something. She already had hers ready to give you and you smile as you hand her yours. "Call me later", she whispered.

"Nickelback, baby! Now who is going to eat all of these?"

"Well we will eat what we can and go hang with the guys, they have a computer over there". We will get the tickets on their computer".

"Hey sweet idea, man." Maybe we can just hang and watch the game while we are over there!"

"Yep, yep. Nickelback baby".
