Success of 'The Lion King 3D' Results in Additional 3D Releases
Other Disney Animated Movies I Would like to See in 3D
Hakuna Matata! It means no worries for Disney since sales soared after they released "The Lion King 3D." Sales reached $61.7 million so far in the United States, prompting Disney to announce the release dates of four additional animated films in 3D.
The four movies to release in three dimensional form are:
"Beauty and the Beast" on January 13, 2012.
"Finding Nemo" hits theaters September 14, 2012.
"Monsters, Inc." goes 3D on January 18, 2013.
"The Little Mermaid" is set to come to life in September of 2013.
Other movies I would like to see Disney release in 3D:
I am a huge fan of 3D movies as well as animated Disney films. The only thing that may prove to be difficult is choosing which films I would most like to see in in 3D.
"Peter Pan" and Peter Pan in "Return to Neverland"
I am hoping the sales of the next four movies do as well as "The Lion King 3D." "Peter Pan" and "Return to Neverland" are my favorite Disney animated films and I must say that it would be breathtaking to see them in a three dimensional appearance. Imagine feeling as though you are flying with Tinkerbell through the Neverland skies. I hope that Disney will release my two favorite movies in a three dimensional format.
"Aladdin"
Flying with Aladdin on a magic carpet ride would be magical. I can imagine the Genie jumping out of the screen with his eccentric personality. Watching "Aladdin" in three dimension would prove to be both hilarious and enchanting.
"Atlantis"
It would be amazing to see the lost city of Atlantis come to life in 3D. "Atlantis" is full of adventure as the crew embarks on an underwater submarine trip to find Atlantis. Glowing and vibrant fireflies would prove to be an astonishing sight.
"Lilo & Stitch"
Seeing Hawaii in 3D would be amazing since I haven't had the opportunity to see it in person. It would be fun to see the cute and mischievous Stitch come to life. Three dimensional waves and aliens seem much more appealing than two dimensional ones. "Lilo and Stitch" is a movie with a perfect blend of comedy, action, and love. Watching it in 3D would make it even more phenomenal.

Post a CommentI suppose it was inevitable, Disney does love to find ways to milk more money out of their stuff.
Aladdin in 3D would be my favorite to watch.
I love finding Nemo. Great list.

I can't wait to see Finding Nemo! I love Dory!!
Interesting and insightful.
Great review.
I have a hard time watching 3D movies. Maybe my brain surgery had something to do with it - I used to think it was my glasses but plenty of folks have glasses and enjoy the films. I get headaches from them, cheers :)
